does anyone really think this photo is well taken to be in a news site? When I see people with very good cameras and wide range of lenses, I thought Japan has a lot of good photographers but many of the photos that end up here in the 'picture of the day' makes me wonder if any of them really take good photos. . . my ketai camera would take a better picture.

If I put the link then might be my comment will be deleted; but just finished reading similar news about how Taiwanese jobless are surviving in BBC news site. They have come up with innovative temporary jobs like errand-running, mosquito controlling, etc. (some examples were single mothers there also). Just meant to say - there are other ways to surviving. Then, another question : what is wrong with prostitution? If she does not do it, someone else will be doing it. It is the whole society that has to show the responsibility - not just her.

Why the heck is it stated as Japan as a whole? No Beatles stuff over here and it sounds like it is mainly in Osaka. Why not title it "Beatles remain popular in Osaka" or does that make too much sense?
> Not just Osaka - I will add Hiroshima too. They are at so many places and in the weekend evenings, there are one or two small groups at different corners playing Beatles.

Japan needs more doctors and health care staffs to meet the demand. US gets young, competitive doctors from all around the world that is keeping the health services in US running. Same in Australia and UK. Japan has not been able to do so because of certain barriers. State of Indonesian nurses who have been called to help Japan is being discussed in the news recently.
