She sounds like a little gold-digger and a man-eater...her dad made a fortune from her. No doubt she will now go off and nab another rich man.

Crikey! It's a shame the Late Steve Irwin wasn't around to capture and wrestle with this savage beast.

There may be more to this than meets the eye. Is it not possible that the father did a background check on the prospective son-in-law - as all Japanese dads do - and found to his horror that Harahiko-san is Burakumin? Just an idea. Or maybe he just didn't like long-haired, hippy guitarists!

The Beatles are and were hugely popular in Japan, just go to a karaoke and you will likely be asked to sing something from them! I find it ironic though that in a culture so pure and against any type of drugs, they love Lennon who was one of the biggest deadbeat heroin junkies ever in the pop scene!

Why is the headline of this story bigger than the whole contents of the article? And why oh why are there no Australian cities on there? Has this Jen Murphy character ever been to Sydney or Melbourne where you will find the greatest range of quality restaurants and fresh food available?
Posted in: Tokyo is the best food city hands down. That's where chefs are going for innovations. There's also a history of food traditions. They are so far ahead of us.

Is it just me, or does this behaviour just seem so typical of many Japanese boys? They probably wouldnt even have a clue about females - and where babies come from - even after they become "sararyman". Future rapists, all of em.
I hope they go and play in some traffic somewhere.

Absolutely! Try this Okinawan cretin as a terrorist, lock him away for 5 years, I'm guessing the US may just have the jurisdiction to do just that? This moron is obviously projecting his hatred onto the Consul General, bitter about the fact that he and his lazy neighbours are responsible for Okinawa being a pitiful, third-world style prefecture. Gimme Saipan/Guam/Hawaii any day!!! I hope Mr. Maher is OK, by the way.

This Shunta guy must be a real bad guy for smoking this evil cannabis. If he hadn't been caught, soon he would have been violently assaulting innocent women on trains, stealing panties, killing children, beating his girlfriend to death, setting fire to houses, wiping his saliva on women in trains....oh, wait, that's just the Japanese WHO DONT SMOKE DOPE! Those guys are all OK though, because they aren't druggos...

Yay, Hanami! Jonnyboy is right, Hanami parties are certainly not all about going and "watching cherry blossoms" for several hours, as locals tried to tell me when I came here. It is, of course, about drunken debauchery in all its forms, getting to see the REAL japan and the REAL japanese. And don't we love it!

Ah, sure, we believe you, Uncle Sam, as do all who watch reputable news networks such as FOX. Do a bit of research and you will find they were actually closer to 0 percent effective in the first Bush War of Terror. BTW, it's not "anti-American" to want to avoid being caught up in hysteria and believing out and out lies.
As I previously stated: No PAC-3 missile would be fired from Japan...and I was spot on.

I think you will find these duds are made in the US. I don't think Japan is in the business of making missiles and weapons, just borrowing them. But if Im wrong I will stand corrected.
BTW Ultrashaman, all the Japanese I know are not "scared" by this whole beat-up, even the older ones I know are laughing it off (and I live in Northern Japan). Gaijin seem more worried! I repeat: No PAC-3 missile will be fired from Japan. Nothing to see here, move along.

Actually ken chan, it's a "patriot" missile (or an updated version of the ones they attempted to use in the first gulf war). Turned out to be a dud. At the time, the Americans were claiming they were 99 percent effective, or some such nonsense. Just typical of the lies those Bush inbreds used to spin whilst promoting their Wars Of Terror, and morons who watched FOX News believed them. I expect these ones would be duds too! lol lol
Seriously, Japan will not even attempt to shoot anything down (if NK even manages to launch anything). The whole thing is just a rally-call for the desperate right-wingers in Japan attempting to salvage something from the upcoming election, along the lines of "let's promote anti-Kita Chosen hysteria to whip the masses into a frenzy of fear, and they might forget our corruption and mismanagement of the economy".

FIFA should copy the format of the WBC, and have Japan play South Korea 5 times. Yeah, that idea was a winner.....NOT! (Does anyone even remember the WBC nonsense of last week? thought not.) Go the SOCCEROOS! Bound for South Africa, unstoppable now.

Mindovermatter, none of us have been in this situation, you wouldnt have any idea how you would react. Wow, you sound like quite the Chuck Norris-style action man. As for the sentence handed down, as Ive said before, killing children like this in Japan does not seem to be such a serious offence. Killing a businessman, on the other hand, the judges would come down on you like a ton of bricks.

Kotooshu will always just be a minor, B-grade player. A 2nd division wrestler, lets all be honest here. He has had enough chances to defeat a major player. I'm sure a certain female poster will come on to defend him...
