Finders keepers. Sorry, Obama - but if you send up drones over foreign airspace and then they fail and crash (American tech lol), expect the nations they have fallen on to keep them. No brainer. Not that I endorse the mad Mullahs and general scum running Iran, just being realistic.

As Smith reckons, there is a strong possibility TEPCO will do the old Japanese business "brown paper bag trick" to "encourage" the fishermen to agree to this proposal. Let'l all hope the government just knocks the idea on the head - you are not getting off this easily, TEPCO grubs!

The company said, however, human health should not be affected even after eating sea food caught in the area for every day for one year.

Sure - everyone in Japan believes what comes out of these TEPCO jerks mouths!

That was real good of the Barca players - if it brought a few smiles to the kids for a while, they have done a wonderful thing.

Obviously this manager needs a white cane and a seeing-eye dog. Those two "goals" were clearly offside and the officials made the right calls. How about blaming your own garbage players, Mr. Maaloul?

Just forfeit and go home already. What is the point of playing to an empty stadium with only some ground-staff in attendance?

Imagine trying to get the bloody thing through customs. This would be entrepreneur clearly didn't think things through. "What's that in your luggage, sir?" "Oh that- it's nothing - just a panda."

You hate to see anyone injured - but as a manager you like to see competitiveness in the squad. A bit of niggle, sledging and argy-bargy between team-mates at training shows they are hopefully willing to put their body on the line against their opposition.Hope this youngster is on the field again real soon.

Forgive my ignorance in baseball - even as a cricket fan I can tell Darvish is one hell of a talented pitcher - but is he handy with the bat too? Just asking...

I thought both sets of spectators - being brothers in Islam - would have got along famously, and exchanged hugs at the final whistle. Who would have expected this hot-headedness from these mobs, what a shock!

I'd hate to turn Japan into a nanny state, but if they want to get serious they may have to follow Australia's lead: hand an on the spot fine of 1,000,000 yen to everyone who invades the pitch. It has worked by and large since introduced down under. Most people think twice when faced with copping a $10,000 bill! You could make announcements before and during the game in Japanese, English and Arabic.

I'm looking forward to this film. It would be awesome if it does grab the Oscar for best foreign language film too. I have warmed to Mr Bale since I first saw him in American Psycho (which I thought was abysmal). Let's just hope it does get released in Japan - even if only at a few independent cinemas - and that the ultra-right terrorists here don't use thuggery - ala The Cove's showing - to intimidate and threaten theatre goers.

Panasonic - along with those other mobs I've never heard of - does not give a hoot about their customers - just gouge them for all they have got. Just a terrible company. Let's all just not buy any of their products ever again and hope they fall!

    @ ChrisJacques:

If you examine the Japanese version of Christmas, it's the opposite of Christmas. Checking into Love Hotels to commit lustful acts...

Japanese have a right to celebrate any festival any way they like. Just because they don't believe your fairy-tale version does not make how they celebrate any less valid than yours. "Lustful acts"? Who are you, Moses or something? Stop imposing your religious values on another culture.

The buck has to stop somewhere - and it is surely with Noda. He has hand-picked all these guys, and they continue to mismanage Japan in a time of extreme crises. Time to go Noda, you've had your run. Who's up next, any ideas?

Traitor!!! He swore several years back that he'd never leave Japanese baseball. Guess money does talk and ... you know what walks.

C'mon JoJo. If you were offered a massive salary rise and the chance to step up to play with the best in the world, it would be a no-brainer. Moving from Japan to the States is like moving from the little leagues to the Majors - literally. He should have made the move long ago instead of muckng around here. Good luck to Mr.Darvish.

Gee whiz - this so called "King" of Thailand sounds like an awfully precious bloke. Let the American go, you silly old man! I mean, you can get jailed in that joint for treading on a coin (which bears the king's mug). If I had a Thai coin right now I'd gladly step on it! LOL
