Being critical of the U.S. is not "anti-U.S.". If you tell your son he is lazy and needs to get a job, does that mean you no longer love him?
Former terrorist, if you are inclined to believe he committed random acts of violence against innocent people. Or have those on the right forgotten all about forgiveness, time served, and how the law works in the United States (This ain't Saudi Arabia).
But let us take a look at the targets of Ayers. Were they innocent civilians? No, they were not. At the time he attacked police, those same police were they types to ride horseback into a peaceful MLK march and club black mothers on the head. At the time he attacked the Pentagon, those same people at the Pentagon were raining bombs and agent orange on Vietnam, a civil war we scarcely had any business in yet were there for over a decade despite wide popular protest.
What you do not seem to understand is that when protests are shut down and the will of the people ignored, its not democracy. When the people are shipped to war against their will and bull whipped for daring to protest, its not democracy. When the people stand up to their oppressors, its not terrorism. If it is, then George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Paul Revere, and John Hancock are all terrorists. At least Ayers and his group never intended to kill anyone, even though, of all the bombs they (or its seems only one of them and not Ayers) planted one police officer did die. --Cirroc

I am taking this as a shot at my post. In my defense, I said condoms, not BC in general.
For some, the pill is unsafe. That aside, the pill can have unpleasant side effects. (I would not even ask a woman to take the pill for my sake, as it is a drug, and all drugs should be taken seriously.) And the pill must be taken regularly, a task that requires responsibility, something I suspect is lacking in this one. They also cost money, and I suspect she lacks that too. And those reasons are why I did not mention the pill myself. Or even sterilization, because it also costs.

I have a wild idea! How about just giving the Kurds the land they already occupy? Just open your greedy fist and let go.
No? Then I guess your goals are not really preserving peace and preventing terrorism, are they? Nope. The goal is keeping land at any cost. You will never guess who I advocate be crushed. --Cirroc

It is interesting how this comes back to fashion, but it seems some would have Japanese girls change thier dress on account of how they view hookers in their own countries, just as they would have the Japanese change words in their own language based on how outsiders view it and not how it is actually meant.

All I was saying is the Japanese do not share our view of what a hooker looks like. They have minds and viewpoints of their own.

What nude kid shots? The article mentioned a naked adolescent but that was it. What did I miss?
Anyway, I did not know the American witch hunt had spread to Oz. I think most of sane adults just view naked kids as cute.
I am suprised none of the moral ragers have gotten out the noose for Aubrey Powell yet. The man is well known for photographing naked children and the pictures are famous.

This should be revised to: Maybe they don't know what gaijin hookers look like. I think they can be forgiven for not knowing and even not caring. They do not share our sometimes psychotic sexual mores, and I thank God everyday I am here. --Cirroc

Many of you above seem to have over-looked this piece of the article. I think there is a lot of truth in the statement. It is a rare groper that makes a logical analysis and correlates dress with a desire to be groped. They exist but are few. Usually a groper is looking for a weak victim who will bear it than a willing a victim. It is more instinct than logic. And it comes from the simple fact that the weak victim is far more common than the willing.
And as the statement says, a girl who dresses very sexy appears to be confident and strong and intimidating, not inviting, and that counts toward most men and not just gropers.
Not sure why girls should get a free pass. It is not like men do not experience a negative side effect when this happens. Women do not like it when I swear like a sailor, so I don't. In return, I think it only fair that women don't tease me at all hours of the day by displaying what I cannot have. --Cirroc

Would you suggest an Operation un-Ajax then? Har!
I am afraid the U.S. has no right to whine about whether the government of Iran is decent or not after destroying a democracy.
There is no disadvantage to having diplomats talking, not for either country. There are glaring disadvantages to no talking.
Anyone who views Iran as threat while simultaniously hoping for no diplomatic relations is either a nutcase or actually wants war or maybe both. --Cirroc

For pity's sake U.S. government, get over yourselves! Could be seen as a reward. Good God!
The article cannot seem to make up its mind on what excuse to use. Might it be they thought the Iranians would flatly refuse, and bust Washington's big headed bubble? --Cirroc

That sure sounds a lot more reasonable than what I am hearing. I have no particular love for Simpson, but the people who were around him seem like scum who should serve more jail time than him for this.
And we all know that if those things did actually belong to Simpson, it would have taken the law so long to get them back that they would be returned to Simpson's estate, after he is dead.
It isn't to me. It makes the crime quite understandable, and the recipients of said crime culpable for bringing the situation down on their own heads. I might feel different if the law moved quickly and justly on these things, but the don't, and we all know its true. --Cirroc

Is it so hard for you to believe or understand that humble fishermen could rise up to combat a very real problem and wind up being scumbag pirates? Or do you think pirates pop out of the womb complete with eyepatch? Is it also impossible to believe that said pirates could act on their own, but form on/off relationships with Islamic warlords? Or are those warlords such clever dudes that they think of everything, including piracy, despite being land lubbers with little understanding of the seas?
Is this all just too complicated for your brain to absorb? Or do you have evidence besides your own conviction that the media is trying to dupe you, and therefore whatever you dream up is the truth? --Cirroc

I think we should allow the Pakistanis to run amok on U.S. soil because we might have al-Quaida operatives in the U.S. still.
Funny how one shoe fits but its mate does not at all!
Do you think it might be possible that the Pakistanis are annoyed with us for not putting Afghanistan together before going on that stupid adventure in Iraq? You think our wasting of resources in Iraq while the Taliban is resurgent in Afghanistan might chafe a bit? --Cirroc

You have paid absolutely no attention to the dates.
Do you have any idea how much you dilute the concept of rape when you throw this situation into the mix? Rape is a crime of horrible violence. What we have here is called statutory rape, and it is an attempt to make a general rule of thumb concerning age an absolute law. There is nothing here to suggest that either girl is distraught. They put themselves onto the dating service. There is reason to believe they knew exactly what was going on, so please stop lowering the seriousness of the word "rapist" by applying it here. --Cirroc

And people think all youth is the same, based on age. This little psycho might be totally mental, but he has also shown exceptional intelligence for his age. In another age, they would have declared him possessed by the Devil. --Cirroc
