Oh my God! You must live deep, deep in a large city. How removed from nature you are! How do you think people were born before there were hospitals and mid-wives? People stood around and watched and that was it. No difference to being alone. --Cirroc

How about just for those who are over 60? I see no reason to burden us all because some old people are far too trusting.
Another campaign idea would be for relatives to take more responsibility for the oldies' bank accounts. Sure, some might get ripped off by their own relatives, but its more traceable. --Cirroc

I should have seen it before, but just because he was released from jail for the incident with the 12 year old does not mean he is free to go. He was either out on bail or awaiting trial I bet. I also would not be surprised if the police intentionally held back on the incident with the 14 year old just so they could rearrest him and hold him for another 3 weeks. --Cirroc

Why? The actual crash area was given low search priority when the search was on. Then a hiker found Fossett's wallet and ID and the plane was not far away from it. Far enough away that the hiker could not see it, but a sweep by air turned it up. And remember, Fossett did not crash land. He rammed a mountainside. There was little left of the plane to spot. --Cirroc

Imagine that. Who could have seen that one coming? A fifth grader? Yes.
The only way to warn these old fools is to have suggestions appear after pushing the "transfer" button on the ATM. All it takes is one call to the relative. If that advice goes ignored, then there is no helping those people anyway.
This campaign is a waste of police resources, but probably better than being harassed by a cop who wants to see your bicycle registration. --Cirroc

Well, I do it in my yard.
I think the sign should say "Please do this in your yard." Why are the Japanese so gosh darned reluctant to ask an intelligent native speaker for corrections and suggestions? --Cirroc

But that is not what you said. You accused the media of whitewashing jihadist terrorism, in obvious reference to the piracy. Islamist warlords have both attacked and, on separate occasions, facilitated pirate activities. You are saying the pirates and warlords are hand in glove and its just that simple. You are wrong. This case might be or it might not. The media does not know, and thank goodness, but they are not as presumptive as you.

Maybe she did. Maybe she always does. Its hard for a woman to know if a man took it off, lost it, or broke it during sex. It is the man's responsibility to use it properly. Only he has the means and viewpoint to do so. Maybe one of her partners did not do his duty and is so stupid he did not even know it or so selfish he did not tell her, and that is why she does not know who the dad is. --Cirroc

Her family says she has been missing. I suspect the woman is not all there.
Yes, and the cops should investigate but not file charges. If women are punished for using the thing, obviously the "baby left in restroom" scenarios will continue.
I am shocked that I will be first to say it, but thank goodness the baby is going to be ok. --Cirroc

Reading about this is interesting, but I can't wait for the movie to come out!
Yeah, he just happened to also possess marijuana! Anyone else think there might be a chance he told the truth and is being silenced? I have not considered all the ins and outs, so if I am missing something obvious, please be gentle!
What a daft individual! The pirates are not doing it for Allah. They are doing it for cash. They get the cash and the tanks will go where they were intended all along.
But thank goodness somebody out there knows Allah's will flawlessly! (Last sentence obvious sarcasm) --Cirroc

Friends, its a hard call. Both ways have potential problems. Brandishing a knife might allow an escape. Or it might wind up in her sternum even though the creep had no weapon himself and originally had no intent to do such harm. Not being armed could get her raped or beaten but still alive. No magic bullets here.
More than a knife or other weapon, I would suggest leaving the high heels in the closet and purchasing a good pair of running shoes to wear everyday until the stalking stops. --Cirroc

Although the age of sexual consent in Japan is 13 years of age, prefecture law usually overrides federal law, raising the age up to 18.
From footnote 8 for Japan in the list on the following link:

That is always the trouble. Plenty of sources. So few can really be considered reliable. Most are just going off of what someone else said. --Cirroc

You should not be so hard on the Somalian government. Every nation has rogues in it that it has immense trouble getting rid of. These pirates are not sophisticated by our standards, but neither is the Somali government. But it stands that pirates have the ship and have for several days, and even we have no magic bullet for the situation.
We all know that they will act anyway. But far better to have mutual understanding and cooperation and the U.S. and Russians at least nodding to national sovereignty and showing respect. I respect the Somalis for admitting the problem and getting everything out in the open. --Cirroc

Yes. Japan does not have Romeo and Juliet. That is an American invention that attempts to fix the problems they created by going nutso on the sex and age question.
Dig into the not so distant past of most countries in the world, and its all about the same. --Cirroc

Run it through enough, it will probably pass eventually.
I think we already have a solution. Its called "filing for bankruptcy", like everybody else does. A clever journalist mentioned it in a link someone here provided. I am ashamed I did not think of it myself. I expect more from my Congressmen. --Cirroc
