    i guess you are not from the States. FYI Bush is a man of peace. He did not want this war, but was force because of the impending threat from Saddam.

    I agree with USAPatriot. The war was a good war. Millions of people are now happy, hey, they love our troops. The war was an honest one, anyone can see that.

    Good post!! The bases are needed as part of th US strategy to bring freedom and democracy to the world. The US does great good by its presence. What would happen if it was a Japanese army instead, doesn`t bear thinking about, does it?

    Hey!! Japan , wake up your are a crime ridden society of mentally ill and misfits. These crimes are becoming more prevelant in Japan. Too many innocents paying the price for a lawless society. The US isso much safer than Japan, you can walk alone at night and feel safe. whatever happened to safety Japan?

    Good post. it is obvious we are in Japan to ensure peace and to allow the Japanese to have a good economy.

    USAPatriot- IVE always voted republican, but i am gettin ick of the way this campaign is being handled. Im not just going to stick up for McCain because he is Republican.

    Bad things have come out of his camp, and wether he knows whatb is going on or not is irrelevent. He should screen everything put out by his camp, and if he allows these ads he is stupid, and if he doesn`t know, well he should have.

    Ive read some links from posters here, and i as a lifelong Republican am having second thoughts about McCain. I cant believe i`m even typing these words, put i always believe in looking at all the facts, and the REpublicans are not behaving with honor. i am a true patriot who loves his country, in case anyone wants to call me a liberal.

    Hey, Obama shows his sneaky true colors. Why don`t you campaign like McCain, in a decent repectfull manner. McCain is assured of victory, i have also been watching the Fox NEWS polls with interest, and see the tide has turned against Obama.

    tkoind2- Fox News is well known as a moderate and balanced news media.

    Propaganda is not what they are about. Have you ever seen Bill O`Reilly? That guy is the most honest, stright down the line guy i have ever seen. McCain will win the election anyhow, and we shall see the Fox News poll was an accurate indicator of folks voting intentions.
