Humm! Strange, my wife says that I do not watch sport which I really don't because it is boring to me. She is not complaining though, just kind of odd to her. If I want, I rather go and actually play rather than sitting there and watch.

Yes, I vote for "Calvin and Hobbes" as well. As a drone working in an office, I also enjoy Dilbert.

Price needs to come down. How much the components cost? I could get 100 white LEDs with over 250000mcd for a few bucks from eBay. The capacitors that lower the household voltage costs only a few cents, the rectifier and the resistors to limit the current to the LEDs only cost couple of cents when buying in quantity. Only the housing would cost more - I did built a few to replace my traditional light bulbs for fun and they runs well. Best is that light dimmer works on them.

With subtitled since sometimes the voice actors really sucks. Then, on the other hand if you watch those old kung-fu movies with dubbed, it is really funny when it is out-synced.

I wonder if the guy in costume is a customer or just for the promotion. If it is the former, then he really really really needs to get a life and his head examined.

Eat lots of bread and butter before drinking. Also, learn to act like you are drunk - the best would be just collapse and pretend you are sleeping. Learn to induce vomit at will.
They got me through a lot of those events sober.

They should also make TV's, DVD player..... accept direct 12V inputs - fridge will be a problem. That way, you do not need to convert the voltage back to AC, then the appliances convert the AC back to DC. Each stage wastes a portion of the energy.

iPad. Never mind the feminine hygiene product joke! With its price and lack of functionality, it definitely not fit what I want. On top of that, you cannot run anything that is not blessed by Apple. I still prefer a laptop as I can do anything I feel like with it and it is multitasking which iPad is not.

I watched an episode of PBS that shows how katana is made and why/how is it curved. It was informational.
