Why do we need US in Asia? Shouldn't we look after ourselves? A country and its leader is only interested in its own people and interests. That is their first and fore most priority. All others come in second or even last. Keep in mind, regardless of which country, every action has its own motive that may not be as noble as it seems.

What brain drain? If they are that good/smart, they wouldn't cause all these in the beginning. Or, perhaps, they are too smart for their own good or good of human kind. If they are that worry, they could always out source, I am sure there are people in another part of the world willing to work for one-tenth of their pay and smarter and better that those self proclaimed smarties in wall street.

Never read those restaurant guides. I judge it by my mouth. I always like to eat on the street rather than in a restaurant. I have found that some of the foods tastes much better from a street vendor than in a restaurant.

Lost is still on? The series was good in the beginning. It kept me interested. Then, after a while it got worst and no longer entertaining or interesting to me, so I have given it up.

I also thought it was too early to give it to Obama. Well, at least they did not give it to GW or his name even on the list; otherwise, the Nobel committee would have totally dis-credit themselves.

From what I have heard long time ago, if an object is being treasured for a long time (around 100 years), it will develop a spirit or something like. But that's just mumble jumbo to me. Kind of a Shinto thing I think. Of course, they believe there is a spirit in everything.

Back to the burning dolls thing, they should give them to some unfortunate kids. Or, perhaps it is just another tourist attraction?

Too expensive for a nail gun. I will stick with my cheapo that I only use it once in a blue moon. For contractors or anything more serious, I suppose they will use DeWalt. I have always found DeWalt is reliable as I have owned so many different drills (including coreless). I enjoy DeWalt and Ryobi because they are reliable.

Oh! Space Battleship Yamato. I used to watch that Anime when I was a little kid. Now, they are making a live movie? I think she could fit as all female characters in that series are anorexic.

It is too bad. Bullying also happens in North America, at least when I was in high school and teachers used to ignore them until the Columbine instance. I used to be bullied by others when I was in school. Since I was in an all boy school, so we played really rough. After a while, I learned one thing, preemptive strike. After that, they stopped.

Hummm! I think I can be classified as a part time otaku (I do have wife, kids and job). I do watch anime and build models. I do surf the internet quite often, but only to look for information for my projects (electronics, physics, computers....). However, I have multiple hobbies (too many) and I switch from one to another depends on what I feel like to do. I do not read manga though as I prefer technical books more.

And, for kokorocloud. I think there is a term for thjose who hole up in their apartments and only venture out for foods - Hikikomori or neet. I have a co-worker had that issue couple of months ago. She had some panic attack and was just afraid to go out in pulic. She is recovering and returned to work, but with help from doctors.

People buy it for looks, not for real off roading. For real off road, they tend to modify the car quite a lot with huge tires and a lot higher ground clearance. With this, it would probably nothing really serious. Anyway, too big and use too much gas for me.

Anyway, this article is a lot like a sale promotion.
