It's so sad she inherited an illegal and corrupt system from her Grandfather and Father unbeknownst to her. The saddest part is the Tax payers accept this behaviour from their Feudal masters.

Perhaps Japanese people should vote with envelopes stuffed with cash, who gets the most wins, some of you might say this is the case now but by making it legal there might be another 6 decades of The LDP (Politbeaurou) control endorsed not just by big business but Mr Mrs Average.

There is no real oversite on these "Special" people, any of us try these shenanigans we would be sacked or charged and prosecuted. I curse my family for not entering politics. I might have been "Special" and above standards that we ordinary people are held up to. If only I was the ofspring of one of these people my head could also be ear deep in a trough of tax payer money with no care in the world.

Great idea, but who would vote themselves out of a job that dad gifted to them? Also he is nuts! Even a crazy person has moments of lucidity.

Abe’s first term between 2006 and 2007 was marred by a string of resignations, a pension records scandal, and a minister’s suicide that eroded his support. Eventually, he quit in the face of parliamentary deadlock and illness.
But he is back and so to are the incompetent ministers. Kudos to the press someone has to expose the massive public theft that is sucking Tax monies. Being the child or Gandchild of a pubic official in no way gives them access to cart blanch theft. Every day a new story every week a new minister...maybe the system is broken?

In a country that almost condones pedofilic obsession, (visit any 7-11/ book off) )this is not surprising at all. Thank god the police acted. Shame on dad, you just can not take your eyes off your children when in a predators environment such as a book store.

Vested interest again puts Japan in a backward position , is there ever going to be time of sense. Europe can buy and sell between countries but Japan can not even exchange power from one side to another.Pathetic.

Naked shebu-shebu was OK just do not dance. Hostesbars ok just don't dance, Host bars OK just don't dance. Now we can dance....with in an environment that specifically allows "Dancing" all be it under a regulated lighting law. Can be as corrupt as you can as a politician but still pass a law dictating an allowed measured of light? The madness continues.

Ha ha ha it's not a medieval society. The Goverment stipulate the lights, didn't have lights in 1260. Do not enjoy it to much or they will change the law again in 60 years.

CrickyOct. 24, 2014 - 11:56AM JST
BBC, ABC all have been reporting the machinations of Japanese Political ruptures a global laughing stock of stories. Perhaps it's best to fall back on cartoon characters to be taken seriously the "Leaders" have dropped the whip, fan, cash and are what they are relatives of previous leaders. That's it genetically destiny.

LDP have dominated pretty much since WW2 if not before, it's their birthright to rule. Nepotism, Corruption and an attitude of complete indifference towards the public are rife. Their shrinking gene pool might be a cause.
