Having seen what the engineers and firefighters did to negate the negative effects of this N Disaster. I cry, so many people worked so hard to keep me and my family safe. They are heroes, knowingly working in an unstable environments. To be in support of N-Power is wrong. Economic worries are nothing when you think of the loss of life the continued stress and loss of families. What is the most important thing in your life? The economy? Or your family? If you have to think about it , then get help you are sick.

Incompetence and corruption still troubles Japan.
It's very regrettable

The area is TOXIC, the government should have moved everyone away. The problem has extended well beyond, to areas that are suprising. Yet we are told nothing, actually we are told it's contained? It's not, can not see it can not smell it but it's there. LDP want to start more NPs and continue the population to absorb everything they spew.

Yep, I'm sure the criminal and despotic see many opportunities to make cash out of the disaster. Many Government /representative of us, will make large amounts of cash out of this disaster. The cycle continues, wheels of governance are greased with public money. A putrid example of the state in action.

Japan is a sidelined nonentity, the US has important bases here but political clout from japan is non existent. All it's neighbors have serious issues with Japan and internationally it's seen as a source of cash, and that's pretty much it. Whaling, historical revision, corruption, despot leaders, apologies that are far from sincere, where is the integrity? But I guess Putin will listen to japan as it has done over the last 60 years with the northern islands.

The Teachers were either unaware (unlikely) or tacitly approving this treatment of a child in their care. The teachers I have met and worked with have been the most racist, imbecilic ,moronic and uneducated people I have ever met. So it's no surprise when I read stories about school bullying. The Teachers instigate many of these incidences through sheer stupidity. My heart goes out to any child that steps off a building due to inept adults in their live.

Inspecting N- sites?? How does he explain the shocking state of some of Japan's N-sites. Were the not checked? Confidence is low on many statements.

So they said it happened, paid compensation. Watered down the topic and now want to completely denai it even happened? Now that's the Japanese spirit?

Get used to it Japan, Government / NHK policies are regested out side of Japan. Being an Island is no longer a guaranty of information control.

They did it, chinese remember it. Right wingers denie it, to what end this repetion? Is the problem that none of these countries "liberated" from western occupation want to once again be under the Japanese imperial yoke?is that what smarts these old men? Or do they crave being the boss raping and be heading all insundrury.? Maybe it's a cultural thing I've missed, Japanese men might lust for the sexual and violent power over non Japanese, might denie it but it's obviously something they feel strongly enough to suppers at every turn. It's hurtful somehow that countries invaded ,violated now wish a day to remember the barbaric actions carried out by genetically similar people.

A food market built on poison land, no requirement to clean up the site, tax payers will do that?
Sounds normal? Ahh for the Olimpics, makes sense now!

Ok what country experienced a pleasant occupation, Japanese troops were undisipled, barbaric and sexually cruel. The more denials the more more the world remembers. What Asian country has fond memories of occupation by the imperial japanese army, ...utter silence. Gang rape, beheading, bayoneting, vivisection, poisoning on a vast scale. The denials...really hold water.

Slavery, 2014 time to pay up! Or the Government can dene it actually happened. Japan has a huge problem with its neighbours of its own making, denial of wrong doing has made matters worse.

Nuclear power, how much has 1 accident cost? Continues to cost,
it's not over and won't be for a generation or two or three. Now the caring government want to unleash 48 more potential accidents without proper safety checks...good luck with that.
CrickyFeb. 26, 2014 - 09:33AM JST
Is it too late? Japan becoming a head up *** state? Doomed economy, birth rate bottomed out, nuclear industry doing what it wants, Government bent on antagonising its trading partners, books being defaced in library's, supposedly independent national broadcasters being run by bigots. Taxes raised while Government spending increases...really it's 2014? Not 1914.
