Suicide is indeed an honourable way of atonement for a crime, provided that the mindset of the person is one of deepest regret, however in many other cases, such of that of a deranged killer, its a simple way of escaping a punishment which would cause harm to its comfort.

They need the belt back in schools, physical discipline has no substitute, kids are too stupid (for a lack of a better word) to comprehend all the social complexities of right and wrong, so a quick slap when wrong is done is far better than a long winded and wasted explanation.

this sounds absolutely incredible, finally we are seeing cutting edge technology and aspects long forseen by sci fi making a practical entrance, hopefuly to improve greatly the lives of those that need it.
