I couldn't agree more with this article. Love it. Thank you! :-)

I'm in LA, and there's no humidity so it's doesn't feel as bad (to me) as a muggy day at 27 degrees (80F). I grew up east of Los Angeles in a hotter climate so I'm used to these kind of heat waves. It was definitely water cooler talk, but nothing crippling. :-)

I've shown friends "Last Christmas" drama from 2004 and "Densha Otoko" from 2005 and the anime "The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi" from 2006.
In my opinion, "Last Christmas" has done the best in bridging the cultural gap. It seems like they "get it" about japanese culture more quickly, without having to explain much. :-)

@unchinanchu - Well at least it wouldn't be a crime! ;-/ Why do people have to cross the line?

@SendaiOzeki - Yayy! Totally agree! :-)
@dontknockit - I agree there's not much crime to report. But I also don't agree "kinky" porn is to blame for a guy making his own free porn with strangers in the street. That's like when they said that TV ruined babyboomers and videogames ruined Gen-X.

The article isn't as shocking as the readers' comments. I don't think that men should be able to make their own personal porn pics without a woman's consent. Maybe I don't understand the outrage because I don't know the severity of the punishment. What's the punishment for this crime?
