That is a one way street. Total bologna. What is see here is an article written to make ill-mannered behavior seem apporopiate. It is in fact done in order to blur your idea of what is right and wrong behavior.
It will come to pass that anything Japanese do or say is right and they'll never find any fault in themselves and their business.
These questions are euphemisms at best.
This article doesn't expand on the thoughts of Japanese regarding your income or expected income based on your age.
Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend is pretty much off limits. It is a very indiscreet way of asking about your sex life. Totally off limits. Just because the question was presented in a formal tone doesn't make it right.
How old are you? = You drink now? I know your not a virgin now. 27? Oh yeah you should be at home cleaning.
Do you have a boyfriend / girlfriend? = Who are you boning? You get your freak on every weekend?
Are you married? = He better be Japanese. Why are you here for a job if you're married? He should be taking care of you. His income must be low. I bet she's trying to save money so she can divorce soon.
Just shut them down. Hey, that's personal. Wrong time, wrong place.
We just met, do you think that question is appropiate? Well, that's private.
You probably won't get the job or find a new friend but HEY, you probably saved yourself from being around the wrong type of bureaucrats.

Seems like these Japanese living in Shanghai are hoping their signs of apathy will appease the general public in China.
No, it should not. If you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem. Go back to Japan and vote Noda and his regime out of office. That is of course if you value your business and your relationship with China.
Otherwise, get some.

Ol Mitt just looks down on everybody.
Never showed his tax returns but has the audacity to insult everybody else......"behind closed doors".
TURN UP the volume. I want that video on YouTube.
Mitt Romney is NOT a Patriot. Furthermore, he does have the spirit of an American. Thus he is NOT qualified to be President of the United States.
This is the nail in the coffin. Obama may not be perfect but he's an American that is doing his best for The United States of America and it's fine citizens no matter their financial status.
Where's the link? Why isn't it in the article?

Okinawa is very quiet now. No more anti-Osprey protests or base protests. The country is ripe with fear.
Japanese really think low of Americans. One minute they want us gone, the next minute they are claiming we will fight for them. You shouldn't treat people like that. Especially your ally if you really believe that.
If conflict does erupt Japan will ask for help and I pray that the U.S Congress says NO.
Treat Japan like they treated us in the Iraq war. We'll send fuel and rice but for the most part we'll hang out in the back away from the front line.
This is NOT America's beef and it's actually an act of aggression on Japan's part. They want to be free of their Constitution and that would breaking an agreement with The U.S.

Who's really going to feel it? Your predictions are very off base.
Lets look at the real monsters. The people in the background pulling the strings. The so-called Deep Pockets. You have to imagine how this is going to play out and most importantly WHO pays for it. After all, it is your tax money.
It starts with sanctions. They go after economics first. For most of us, we simply imagine..."Okay, no more business with China". No more 100 yen shops. No, the rabbit hole goes deeper.
Currently Japan has almost all of it's nuclear reactors down. Your are importing LNG almost daily now. How is the LNG getting here? By ship of course, but what's the fastest route? The answer is popping up in your head now. It will cost millions of dollars to redirect those ships.
It' will cost millions more to send armed escorts to make sure the LNG gets here. Military operations cost money, especially naval operations.
In conclusion, Japan's government will turn on the reactors saying that it's too risky to get LNG here past China.
The result is BIG Nuclear Energy wins despite all the protests and the promises by Japan's current government to phase out Nuclear Energy.
Once the reactors are back on. A new set of politicians will take over in order to renew relations with China.
All the while the people of Japan will suffer at the gas pump, taxes and with no competition everything will be inflated. No, only Japan will pay. You can't hurt the Chinese any worse than they are now making Apple products.
Japanese politics are always indirect. You must focus on what is Japan's true goal. What is it that Japan always needs. The answer is RESOURCES. This is in fact a non-military style invasion that wil lead to war.

An American representative did not say this. Furthermore, before we lift a finger to get involved with this, it'll have to go through Congress.
No, this guy lied. There is nothing written about these islands in the Security Pact. This false statement is done to present a facade that the U.S supports Japan's claim to these islands.
Readers....be honest with yourselves. The truth is....Americans are focused on their election. Your problem with China is not going to be a topic of debate. You know this to be true.
What Gemba really wants is to use American lives to support their war while they kick back.
You didn't even want our Osprey here.
Anybody notice that Okinawa is REAL quiet these days. There are no protests asking Americans to leave.
Hey Okinawans....you should ask the U.S to leave now. As you all can see it's real quiet now.

Hahhaha, back in WWII when some soldiers didn't want to fight, they'd shoot themselves in the leg to get out of active duty. They'll appoint someone else quickly.

WOW, now Japan claims that Shanghai is their "home". Shanghai is Japanese territory?
China should kick them out or amass them all into one concentrated area for their safety until flight arrangements or ships can get them home. The local police in Shanghai simply cannot protect all 60,000 who are spread out.
How do you feel about that Ishihara? On the surface it looks beneficial doesn't it? Naturally Japan will do the same. Yokohama will be shut down.

The only reason Mitt Romney is concerned about foreign policy is because most of his money is in some offshore account so he can avoid taxes.
Mitt "Hey, that's my money over there"
Mitt Romney doesn't deserve to be President.
Invest in America, and buy American.
Don't listen to this tax evader.

Totally not worth it. Ishihara and his Nationalists want to plunge the world into darkness.
Old men are dangerous and should be ignored. Only the living suffer and we'll be the ones. Ishihara will kill over and never have to live with the guilt or the bloodshed.
I know it's not all Japanese who feel this way. However this society is making the same mistake that it did with WWII, following the Emperor blindly and sending their men out to die. Japanese women do that so easily.
It just takes one nuke on Tokyo to set the nation back 100 years. Technology lost, books and wisdom burned to ashe. Depending on the magnatude of the blast and it's depth it make even cause further damage to the plates that Japan sits on. You'd be a lost people.
When was the last time Ishihara went down to Hiroshima? It won't be an American atomic bomb this time. It'll be a nuclear missile with 50 times more yield.
As soon as the American Embassy issues a warning to leave, I'm out.

BOTH.
It was already taken down a peg when they attached the word "weekly". Politicians won't take it seriously.
You really need some smoke in the city if you want change. Corrupt faulty politicians in Japan are dug in like ticks. You have to oust them like Ghadafi if you want change.

issa1 There is a saying that leaves no room for apathy.
"If you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem".
Those so called innocent could have stormed the government building and removed those idiot politicians or Imperial family. Instead they drank sake whenever they heard news of a Japanese victory even if it was propaganda.
Again, you sit there at your computer blogging here when you should be in Shinjuku protesting against your government in order to save innocent lives. Let this issue go. You don't need this.
You can't go all the way with this. You'd have to take over China. After you start this war even if it's just a conflict, there won't a be a single Japanese company that can do business in China.
King Phyrrhic if you'd like to learn from other's mistakes.

Once again you guys are still thinking inside this little box. You think the ROE is followed here in Asia when Japan doesn't even the UNHCR?
FYI, ROE = Rules of Engagement.
There will be no safety zone or limited area where they fight. They'll hit you where it hurts the most. Tokyo. Ishihara lives there right?
When it comes to war, you have to think outside the box. Next time you are at Odaiba take a good look at Tokyo. Then imagine it blown away with every living being charred to dust.
This is what these Japanese politicians like Ishihara want for dinner. Their appetite for war and Nationalism will result in bloodshed.
Hey if you guys are on a beach somewhere outside of Japan just put that in your signature. NIJ = Not in Japan. Then I won't attack back at you cause I know you're just trolling.
If you live here it's a totally different reality.

Spoken like a true Republican. He earned some points today. Republicans have always loved Fear as their motivational ally. We need more guns. We have to show them we can destroy them in a mouse click if we wanted to.
Yeah, that's the President we DON'T want. Pour some more gasoline on the fire.
People on both sides got hurt by this.
It's not just American forces that are suffering. Police and authorities in all these Muslim nations are trying to quell the violence and protests. Their lives and families are at risk too even if they aren't American citizens.
This first fault was: The movie. That movie sent out a hateful message. The President of the United States cannot follow that up with more insensitive remarks. He must seek peace and order.
Mit Romney would cast this world into darkness. Seeking foreign war and bloodshed over economic growth.
The worst thing America could do now is put a Republican in office. It would send a message that we are going back to our old ways.

If you have to ask that question then you don't really know what we've done. Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer. After 50 years we've never left Japan. Call it anything you want, treaty this, proclamation that.
So much has changed. I've seen Japan do so much wrong to other human beings. The Left Behind Parents, the illegal marriages, the fraud and lies to it's own citizens.
Not this time. IF war breaks out, remember your politicians started it.
Then you will look up to God and say "Save Us". NO!
We will pray for you, but we don't have to save you. Not over this.

Maybe you misunderstood. I was trying to be tactful in regards to the "male reproductive organ".
I onced asked a Japanese girl who had dated Japanese men and English men, what's the difference?
After a moment of thought she quipped. With a Western man you can feel his love. With a Japanese man you can feel his credit card.
Clearly there is a different set of rules depending on nationality.

I agree America should not get involved.
After all, Japan is the same country that attacked us in WWII. They killed indiscriminately.
Japan has had enough time to heal up since WWII so it should be an interesting fight. I'm betting on the Red Corner.
