Yeah it was a laugh when it was a few somalies in a dingy taking ships, but boy as soon as they take a US ship then its "pull out the nukes" time from the loud mouth armchair generals here.

Hows this, pull on your boots and go do something other than shooting your mouths off. Im sick of all the nuke this nuke that BS here. Thank god none of you have any power or we would be in nuclear winter by now.

I would say to throw out a few dummy ships loaded with spec ops on board. Let the pirates board and then arrest them right there. Just troll back and forth until they fill the ships, then bring them to justice.

All this has done was save one captain and put the lives of 200 people at risk. Remember he was not the only one being held.

Why not just grab it with a helicopter and drop it on the deck of one of the ships.

Like i said we dont know what set this guy off. My comment about thumbing his nose was in reference to alot of these people doing as they wish, "Im a american" with diplomatic immunity. Then again I could be 110% wrong and he was the the best ambassador for our country at that time.

Im just bringing it up because I have seen a few act like asses even to their own citizens.

You know its time japanese women get some mace, and some training on how to use it. I know its not relevant but the NPA showing domestic abuse stats probably dosent compare to assault stats like these. And its usually when the perp hits 20 or more victims that they finally get caught or fade away.

This US chap is a diplomat who is protected under various international treaties.

Including thumbing his nose at foreign laws and customs.

We only know what the story states. We dont know if the perp was provoked or just deranged. Granted its assault and he should be dealt with accordingly, lets hope this dosent make Okinawa an axis of evil.

I dont like it its not fair, if my business was going down the tubes I would have to file bankruptcy to keep it going or find a way to protect my personal assets. I know were playing with a lot of peoples lives, but remember it was no skin off these guys teeth when they outsourced and cut staff before.

If it comes down to the taxpayer keeping these beasts alive then they should be given a credit to use towards a purchase of a new car. Remember the taxpayer will now be an investor by proxy. I think they should have discounts based on their tax bracket or even government sponsored loans to help in purchase. With this then I think it can spur sales and everybody will have some sort of fairness from this.

So is he in jail? Or is it alright now to assault people. I spent 10 days in the J Jail after I knocked a guy out for punching my wife.

Whats up with Pakistan. That place has gone rouge the last couple of months. Mind you they have a bomb and receive money from the states.

I almost forgot about Iraq with all the love out of Pakistan.

Come on he didnt get fat in jail, he actually came out pretty thin. He's been out on bail for how long now.

And I think TBS was the ones that put the screws to him.

He saved far, far more lives than he took. It was a dirty war & could only have been won by fire against fire.

You could argue that about Saddam. El Presedente needs to try on a rope.

So if say the guy came home and saw that his wife had killed their kids, and say he picked up a shovel and smashed her head off her shoulder would that be alright for you dubya lover. Would that make it alright you know the stress and all. Funny anywhere I have gone in this world it is drilled into the men and women that serve in uniform that during their duties they are held to a higher standard than civilians.

I like how you say "wrongful deaths", but anywhere else in the world executing people is murder.
