I disagree, oceans do not need our effiorts of balancing. It has been balancing itself for millions of years before humans stepped in. Also, this is the last time I'm replying to your threads. We understand, you just want to eat whales. I don't agree that notion is a reasonable one. One thing I know, if everyone in the world think and acted like Cleo, we'd have no worry looking into the future. Think hard of the reason why you are favoring killing destroying over preserving and protecting.

Cleo is right on the spot. There aren't anyone below 60 that want to eat whale meat. It's those yakuza fisherman that want to keep their income coming and just want to destroy marine life. In sake of profit. It is up to common person to limit their consumption of wild life. I'm doing my part. Please don't encourage fisherman to rip life out of oceans by paying them money for what they do. It will be our children who will pay the price. Are we smart enough to leave the world as we found it, to future generations? Or will we be known as the generation that destroyed it all.

I think fixing currencies and prices can bring stability to our lives. But I don't know much of innerworkings of the economy. I think we are reaching the technological capability of automating food production and making it free for all. Surely it would be difficult to implement, but world without money can be a heaven. It's a the fact that 80% of the jail population are there for money related crimes.

They talk to God, but I don't think God replies. I wish he did so we could ask these sensitive questions to him. Like why did he create different religions and all this conflict?

Hmm, maybe not. I've lived there for 14 years and was really happy after moving to Okinawa.

Totally with societymike on this one. Religious people should keep their ideas to themselves. Noone will go to hell because they couldn't make others accept their ideas. Plus there are enough unwanted babies around. I'm a firm believer that most of the problems we are facing today is caused by unloved babies. If you won't be able to bring up a child with parents and love, don't do it at all. Abortion can be a great problem solved. I owe two mistakes solved by it and very appreciative that it exist. Otherwise both my life and the life of babies would be ruined.

If you are in anywhere else in the world, stepping really hard on someone's toes is great way to defend yourself. It's easy, not expected and they can't even chase you down the hill after that.

Koran says that the only reason that a new religion was sent to humans is, because humans changed the Bible as they see fit. There are several versions of Bible, but only one Koran. Islam recognizes Jesus as a prophet of same god, but at the same time says that Islam is the only way to heaven, because Bible was changed and no longer is creation of god.
To me it's all bull crap. I hate religion, just because of the fact that it creates differences between us. But what I hate more is the ones who think their religion is better then others and all others will go to hell. If god has created this conflict, I'm not sure if he really love us, or even exist.

WillB,
Ok, how many arab nations has killed 5000 some of their own citizens, just because they could have a reason to kill people from other religions? How many muslim countries has invaded christian nations? How many muslim newspapers published images of their soldiers kicking christian nations citizens? I'm sure the list is even shorter.

Maybe not. Starving to death is not painfull enough. There are people practicing death by starvation in India and they say it's a pretty good way to go. Just in case they are right, he shouldn't be allowed to escape his body until he pays for the crime he commited.
