Killing an innocent animal by bashing it in the head is WRONG! no matter which animal it is. Shame on Canadian PM for eating the seal meat and showing support to barbarians. These things makes me wish that there is a heaven and hell and these people will pay for killing innocent animals. Or there is a karma and they come back as little seal and get their heads bashed.

Farhaan, the only reason women are made to ware burqas and veils is to prevent man from feeling the attraction. Can you tell me any other reason? And I am not offended if you call me anti-islam. I am anti-religion! Ware your cap or whatever, but don't ask woman to cover their hair, just because you it may turn you on.

Concrete, to some beliefs, you will come back to life as one of those animals whose skin is ripped off while they are still alive. Animals are other beings of this world and just because we're not smart enough to understand their purpose of existence, doesn't give us right to torture them. Yes, we are meat eaters, but we now have the technology to live well without wearing animal skin. I just wish all you animal torturers and supporters of torturers come back to this world after death as one of those animals. Because that seems to be the only thing that will teach you.

It's amazing to me that in this day and age; people are being convicted on something they say. What happened to freedom of speech? They criticize Turkey because publicly insulting government or army can get you in jail. Apparently insulting Jews in most any country can get you in jail too. I read anything I found about Jews in WW2 and there is no concrete evidence that 6mil was killed. I saw a documentary by Jewish activist who goes to austwich death camp and finds out that it was totally destroyed after the war and rebuilt by Russians. Now they show tourists how Nazis were exterminating Jews by poison gasses and so on, not even mentioning that it was rebuilt.

I know the truth doesn't need protection from the law. I don't believe invading forces had any reason to stick to the truth and say they have no idea how many Jews were killed or the reason for their death was disease related or not. I am no way defending Nazis, but also don't believe that they killed that many Jews at all. Number was exaggerated by invading forces. And I don’t believe saying that should get you in jail.

I'm from one of those countries and support the ban 100%. Don't want to see burqas, veils even headscarfs on women. Just because it's based on thinking that seeing woman without a burqa or headscarf can turn a man on. Are we living in this kind of world? Where man can be turned on by seeing woman's hair or face? If we let some women cover by burqa or veil, the ones doesn't cover those parts will look like they are asking for it, or simply advertising their beauty. Woman should be free of this pressure inflicted to them by man.

    Pros:

    1. Big blow to organized crime, terrorist groups, drug dealers. They can not stay in business without being able to sell drugs. We can even solve problem with terrorism, since this is their main source of income.
    2. Increased TAX revenue. Richer governments, why not use some of that money to help abusers. Wait a minute, since government would be controlling the sale, they can put a limit to abusers.
    3. End of hard drugs like heroin and meth. This drug kills and should not be available to anyone.
    4. Surely law would come with age limit and kids can be protected better then they are today.
    5. All users can be subject to yearly health checks. I bet most drugs will prove less damaging than alcohol and even tobacco.

    Cons:

    1. Not all can handle drugs. Some should never even try. They will be exposed and will feel the urge to try. They will act unresponsible and will ruin it for all. Same as people who can't handle their booze.
    2. Some people will see this as opportunity to make money and god knows what they will come up with.

Some Points: 1. It must not be privatized. No commercials should be allowed.
    2. Only people with license should be allowed to consume. If they act irresponsibly, license should be provoked, just like driving license.

Legalizing some drugs will make others dissapear!! If Cannabis was legal, 80% of the drug dealers couldn't survive, because that's their primary income. If Cannabis was legal, it wouldn't be a gateway drug. Just because it's available among in same place that other very harmful drugs are available. Dealer will push other drugs if what customer wants is not available. Legaizing cannabis will solve problems with other drugs!! Drugs don't ruin people's lifes, people ruin their own lifes. Just like you can quit smoking cigarettes, you can quit any drug anytime. Except we all know heroin addiction is harder to kick off. So weak minded people should be kept away from hard drugs, even if it means to criminalize them. But keeping an innocent little plant like cannabis illegal is a shame for any modern country.
