What a shame. Toy Poodles are an abomination of actually quite a good breed (Too much inbreeding for the miniaturization).
Yeah, I know poodles get a bad rap, but its the owners, and/or shoddy breeders not the breed. They are a smart, intrepid gun dogs. They can also heard. believe it or not. Very clever.
And those obnoxious fluffy cuts actually derive from working clips to keep their joints warm while wet.

Super Delegate,
Gee, I didn't know you were such an Obama fan. You actually not only read his book, but took the time to compile that list yourself....
Or, maybe not.
Maybe, someone else did. Some unnamed source.
And I am sure its an accurate as can be compilation.

Clinton really gave her party what it and Obama what he needs:
So today, I am standing with Senator Obama to say: Yes we can.
Followed by, no less than five Dem platforms points, concluded with
That’s why we need to help elect Barack Obama our President.

Way to go, Mrs. Clinton. You've done your party and our county a great favor today.

Fresh off the press: Clinton Backs Obama.
*Mrs. Clinton offered nothing less than a full-throated endorsement for and embrace of Mr. Obama and his candidacy. * --www.nytimes.com/2008/06/07/us/politics/07cnd-campaign.html
I saw the speech. At one point, she said those magic words, "We must join Obama in saying, 'Yes, We Can.'"
Harriet "inadequate black man" Christian must be sad.
So much for Democralypse Now. Steven Colbert, and all those who parodies, must be sad as well. 'Cause Hillary and Bill are gonna put all they can into electing Obama.

I have mixed feelings about this thread.
I notice that few of you have taken the time to substantially address the issues Mr. Liddel crudely raises. Normally, I think it valuable to engage such pieces because this crude slam on Japanese men and society takes place within a larger, important, conflict. The conflict is between the familiar tradition of Western chauvinism and the newer Western belief that all civilizations and cultures are equal, equally good, and therefore beyond reproach. Rather than engage and disarm Mr. Littell, many of you seem more than happy to simply condemn him and dismiss inane ideas.
However, the Left’s smug certainty of multiculturalism just as much a threat to rational discourse and, ultimately, the public good as the Right’s ethno-centrism.
Case and point, Japanese have problems. They are, lest you forget, humans. Japan suffers wide social problem of absentee fathers, bored and neurotic housewives, spoiled/neglected children, teenage delinquency, and on and on. In many ways these social problems are typical of advanced industrial societies, and in many other ways their expression are unique to Japan.
It does us and Japan no favors to use these typical social problems as a mallet against Japan, as Mr. Liddell’s and his ilk are wont to. Y'all got to read "Japanese really are forever young", by Mr. Liddell, from November 19, 2005,
http://archive.japantoday.com/jp/comment/864)
Equally so, it does us and Japan no favors to wrap yourself in the soothing gauze of multicuralism and pretend that because Japan is different that you have no reason to judge the social problems.
There are real problems here in the way that for far too many, the old story holds about the sacred bond between mother and son and the woman who got in the way, y'know, the man's wife.

Recent polling data does not support any partisan claim either way about the inevitabily of either candidate. Its too close to call now, and we've got a lot of time between now and November.

The phrase "thumping" to describe the 2006 Republican defeat comes from Bush.
"Rumsfeld's departure is being described in the media as a response to what the President labeled a "thumping" in the midterm elections."
www.usnews.com/usnews/politics/bulletin/bulletin_061109.htm
As for your second comment, it really doesn't have anything to do with my initial point with which you took issue.
Which is, in case you forget, that the current polling essentially puts Obama and McCain even, that the polling data does not support any partisan claim either way about the inevitabily of either candidate. Changing the subject to how poorly you think Americans feel with the Dems performance since 06 in no way affects the fact that the polling before the 06 election strongly suggested that the Dems were favored to take the House and the Senate was close.
Thus my point how polls count stands.
Importanly, I notice you neglect to respond to the point how your favored phrase "The only polls that counts is in November" is lame.
Thus, your blather nothwithstanding, my initial post stands. Its too close to call now, and we've got a lot of time between now and November.
Thanks for playing.

First, elections are not polls. They are elections. Your statement makes as much sense as "The only practice that counts is the tennis match" Or "The only pop quiz that counts in the final."
Still, you've used that line often.
You used it before the 2006 elections. Y'know, the one where the Democrats led in the polls. What happened there....?
Oh yeah, The Republicans took a thumping.
So, the line that Democrats are good at winning polls but bad at winning elections aint true either. It wasn't true in 06
And neither was it true for 2004. By October, the polls reflected fairly accurately what happened.
If you honestly think the Republican party should ignore the polls, do me and America, join the RNC or your local Republican chapter, and lobby as hard as you possibly can to ignore the polls.
So, if you want to see your party do

So its Obama vs McCain. If the election where today,
www.electoral-vote.com has it with President Obama. 287 to 227, 24 tied
The PBS Newshour -- www.pbs.org/newshour/vote2008/primaries/states/ -- has it with McCain leading 232 to 200. with the remained up for grabs.
Real Clear -- www.realclearpolitics.com/ -- gives it to Obama by 38 electoral votes.
And finally Rasmussen -- www.rasmussenreports.com -- had McCain lslightly eading in popular vote for months, and now tied with Obama for the past two weeks. Electoral college breakdown goes 260 to 240 for Obama, with 38 toss up.
In short, this data does not support any partisan claim either way about the inevitabily of either candidate. Its too close to call now, and we've got a lot of time between now and November.
We're in for an interesting summer.

Clinton may carry fight to convention floor
She'll be able to do this if she can last till the DNC meeting next week. There, she will be able to send the issue of how to seat the MI and FL delegates to a subcommittee that does not render its decision until the Convention in Colorado.
To head this off, Obama must get 90+ more super delegates to endorse before the May 31 meeting.
I've written my super-delegates to endorse Obama, because if this contest goes to Colorado, McCain will most likely win the general election.
