    Good Donkey

    Thanks for your posts.

As for Wall Street, well, we know what they really want. Bailout with no strings and a return to the good ole days of the bubble. Nothing more. Nothing less.

And I want a toilet made of solid gold, baby.

Snap polls strongly suggest Americans overwhelmingly support Obama's plans. Talk about the using the Bully pulpit.

Right Wing Blow Hard Rich Lowry describes:

Obama is "trying to redefine extensive government activism as simple pragmatism, and if he succeeds, might well shift the center of American politics for a generation."

Obama told the rich point blank their taxes are going up, told the people of America that government and only government can solve their problems, and the American people approve of him and his plan more today than yesterday.

Well that's the lay of the land, Rich, after eight years of failed Bush policies, and thirty-eight after failed Reagan economics. I'm calling it:

We have now entered into a new domestic order, a Center/Left grand coalition that will last another generation.

Looks like you, Rich, and all you Republican buddies are, now what was that word....

    Oh yeah,

    inconsequential.

    As for, Republicans.

Now we will see what a real American President is all about.

The Reagan Era is over. We have entered into a new 30 year center left coalition in American Politics.

Fears of a Democrat crackdown lead to boom in gun sales

Take out the Righty's irrational hatred of Democrats and Liberals, and what do you get?

"Fears lead to boom in gun sales"

Fear rules these boobs. Boy I'd like to talk to them in a year or two time when they wake up to an America where they still got their guns and religion, and maybe even health care to boot.

These post election Palin revelations: I remain skeptical. To say the least. Do you actually think Palin doesn't know that Africa is a continent? Absurd.

All these 'revelations' are coming from....Schmidt and the RNC operatives. The same guys who brought you Obama is a Marxist-black-panther-secrete-muslim-terrorist who wants to teach sex-ed to four year olds.

Why do you even for a moment believe anything coming from them?

So the eternal question of cui bono arises. Yes, who in the Republican party wants to take down Palin and the theocons, now that she and they are at their weakest?

    Who indeed?

    Yes, now who do you

    Ask yourself

    USAFdude,

Thanks for your thanks to my thanks from the other day.

RE: (JT) Righty's: WGAF? Not me. Its our time for the next two years. At least.

They still support Bush. They are irrelevant. They are evil. Ignore them.

When they come hat-in-hand to us, and plead to be part of what we created, then I will deign to respond:

    When you

    1. apologize for what you've done to our country,
    2. stop gibbering, frothing and
    3. stop lying
    4. repudiate Bush and his failures
    5. and apologize for having questioned our patriotism,

then, and only then, will I condescend to enter a dialog.

Unil that day, you get nothing from me, other than, of course, my ever loving contempt and jeers.

Its a good day to be an American. A good day for America.

Our long national nightmare is OVER. We are back

Betzee, USAFdude, gooddonkey, yabits, taka, Sezwho,

    I want to thank you.

I want to thank you all your posts here, for all that you've done, during these past dark years.

Thanks for your ideas, your feedback and most importantly thanks for keeping my spirit lifted through what has been a truly trying period. America is BACK. America repudiates Bush. Reaganism is dead. At last. The Republicans --reeling -- are now a regional party, destined for the political wilderness for quite some time. We Democrats are the national party, the party of America.

Our long national nightmare is OVER.

Its a good day for America. A good day to be an American.

    Thank you for everything.

The Party of Lincoln died long ago. Long before Reagan, who, you are right, really started this whole mess.

Because he " reinvented himself" I only feel contempt for him.

Because he is down, I only feel the need to break him so he and his party will never get back up.

Town hall Q & A over. So is McCain.

Polls: Obama won the Town-Hall Event. McCain needed to win; he did not. At best, he came in a close second.

Say goodnight, Johnny. It's President That One to you.

I'm lovin' it. Its a good day for America. A good day to be an American. Our long national nightmare is over. Some evidence for what I'm talking about: A recent email to the (Right WIng) National Review says...

*Well I have gone outside and pulled up my Mcain/Palin sign. This election is over. I will vote for Mcain but I know that come Nov. 5 Obama will be our president-elect.

I feel sorry for Sarah Palin. A once promising career will be permanently connected to the landside loss of John McCain.

I weep for my children and their families.*

    Good. Its about time.

Their crummy spirit really is broken. Now's the time for America to press our advantage and crush their movement. Time to end for a generation their rape of our nation.

Our enemy is on the retreat. We will not let them get away and regroup. We will crush them. We will make more Republicans "weep". We will make them weep untill the cows come home.

We will take our country back.

    Obama/Biden 08!

I am happy to see Sarah Palin the Republican VP candidate. Palin spells the end of the Republican cohesiveness. Palin's position as VP illustrates that the Republican Guard have, as I have pointed out over the past years, taken over the party.

The more she gibbers, winks and lies, the more clear it becomes: the lunatics are in charge of that asylum.

Everytime Palin goes out there, everyone can see on full display how the anti-intellectual, anti-elite, anti-science, ant-Liberal (with a capital L) populist Right has turned against Washington and Wall Street. The Republican alliance is shattered.

Palin's ascendancy marks how the Republicans have turned themselves primarily into a regional party . Obama's and the Democrats current lead in Virginia is reflective of the larger demographic trends in America.

And Republicans, with their entrenchment to the white Right, show how they are on the wrong side of the demographic trends in America.

Ironic that the Right, who reject evolution, are falling prey to one of its lesson's: Yesterdays advantage can turn to today's burden. Just like the Mamoth's oversized tusks. The Republican stranglehold on small town conservatisim has turned out to be small town conservatism's stranglehold on the party.

We are on the verge of a new Center/Left Coalition. The Reagan Revolution has run its course. Right into a ditch. I'm lovin it.

Its a good time to be an American. Our long national nightmare is drawing to a close.
