Yea, that era was filled with rights abuses, horrible pollution by industrialists and dirty dirty cities. That gigantic increase in living standards and economic growth? Not like you think. The times under the gold standard were incredibly unstable and economies improved when they dumped it. And the economic growth? Unstable boom and bust, fuelled in the US mostly by a 350% increase in population. Don't whitewash or revise history to fit your ridiculous austrian BS. Christ the net is rife with crap like this.
