On a positive side their sales are up over 100% on Athens and if you can get a visa Beijing hotels are dropping in price (probably the real reason ANA can drop the package price).

it's the unpredictability that is scary. There are probably more violent crimes involving knives and guns per capita in countries like the UK and US but it's the unpredictable that makes it scary and newsworthy.

I think the major expense here is to do with ex-pat housing and the ridiculous rents being charged. Another factor would be the outrageous charges for children activities which people pay because they have no choice and the company is paying rents and COLA so what else to spend your…

Just start requiring the kids to wear helmets.

Under the new road traffic laws that came into effect 1st June I believe it is now required that children under 13 wear helmets. But like other bicycle laws I don't imagine it will be enforced. I like the aussie idea where…

If they enforced it half the bicycles would be off the streets!

I wish they would ban (or enforce a ban?!?!) on using mobile phones and music devices whilst cycling.
