Mixed - living VERY close to one of the venues I can see some good rental income for a month or so but to put up with all that other rubbish I am not so sure.
Personally I do not see it going to Japan or Madrid Sydney->Athens->China->UK->surely somewhere a bit further west....

HR departments follow 2 chanel very closely.
Personally I find it a cowardly place as 99.9% of posts are by guest or anonymous - well it was last time I could be bothered to look around 2 years ago

my first PC was an Acer - 20 years ago! In those days you could get the o/s on a 30MB hard drive and still have space to store your thesis!!!

Tried to buy an ebook reader last year in Yodabashi camera but they looked at me as if I was simple - I had seen them there before.
In the UK Waterstones now sells the Sony one - maybe I will get it next time I am over.
And when will the Kindle come to Japan?

This is not new. My brother in law works for fuji xerox and they are not allowed to buy competitors products - even if they are not competing in that market place. It's crazy! He is very tech savvy and why would he want to buy an inferior product?
He's very loyal though!

the money is probably all off shore in tax havens by now. Why waste more tax payers money trying to retrieve it?
Surely if people put as much effort into coming up with real solutions to this mess it would be a more efficient use of your tax dollar/yen etc. I say you as I am unemployed now so only contribute though indirect taxes as long as the savings last...
Let's not forget it was the American's public desire for more credit and buying houses they could not afford etc that has largely resulted in the current situation.
The bankers greed was born out of the (American) public's irresponsibility.
