The only sweat I worked up was packing mine and shipping it off after selling on auctions. At least the family who bought it is getting good use out of it. The Wii is an interesting concept but a look at the game selection (or lack thereof, really) reminded me I made the right decision.

Ordinarily that would be the responsible thing to do. We talking about Japanese parents here, who will walk up Mount Kilimanjaro and back 10 times before taking any responsibility in their own kids. Once the kids pops out it's up to the rest of the world to take of it for them.

It never ceases to amaze me how stupid the average person is (back home and in Japan.)
I'm not at all surprised that young Japanese cannot read or write their own language: listening to 5 minutes of an average conversation is proof.

Same here. I got a good laugh in Analyze That when Paul Vitti was working at the Lincoln dealership and made that "Remember Pearl Harbor" comment to the guy who drove a Lexus. I was the only one in the theatre who laughed at that.
