Iran has no plans to commit suicide, which is what it would be doing if it attacked Israel.
Iran has U.S soldiers on five of its borders, its nuclear scientists are getting murdered and research facilities are being attacked. So they take a look at what happened with North Korea when they acquired nuclear weapons. Nobody messes with North Korea anymore, do they? No sir. Is it any wonder why they would like a tactical nuclear weapon? Would they start a war with it? Well, Iran hasnt started a war in 250 years, so chances are they wouldnt.

In order to curb Chinas growing prominence, disallowing them to have independent energy access is a great place to start.

Obama wasnt that rich when he first went to Congress. His two books made him wealthy rather than any real business acumen. NBA players earn more in one year than Obama is worth.
The difference now is the political climate. 15 years ago, what a candidate was worth was not such a big issue. Today it is going to become a massive issue.
Thats not true. The Prime Ministers of Japan, Australia and Canada are far from rich and have been lifetime public servants.
