Lovable old lady student: Dento-San, what food dont you like?
Me: Uggh - celery. Never have, probably never will.
Lols: Eeeeh? I cant believe it!
Me: Well believe it baby! COBS Online told me it is very believable.

The World Series champion is rarely referred to as "World Champion" these days. So chill.
I am ok with "World Series" - it is baseball romance. Its origin is disputed and nobody is able to verify the newspaper story.
Japan is the Mens Baseball World Champion and will remain so until the 2013 Classic.

Without alcohol-related deaths, can you imagine how many more idiots we would have to deal with? There are enough out there already! Alcohol is there for me to enjoy and to help Darwin keep his annual award show going.
Alcohol has not only helped end the lives of obnoxious singers whose 15 minutes were over but also the lives of a few morons I knew. In fact, more people should be drinking and taking meth!

Perhaps, but love hotels have far higher rates of seediness due to the anonymity
oh and it is time to correct the headline. A child has died - not a woman.

Never understood the fascination with U2. They havent released a good album in more than 20 years, none of their members are technically brilliant at their craft and U2 will never be remembered as doing anything that changed music. Considering though, the last 15 years have been a desert when it comes to great music maybe it is just a sign of the times.

Japanese chocolate gets the thumbs up from me. The cheap, cheap stuff is OK but if you spend a little more than you usually would, the premium stuff will take the Pepsi challenge from anything else in the world.
If you want to impress Mum or Dad, send them home a box of Mary's chocolate. You will probably only get it from the food level in good department stores but it is all good baby.
Interestingly, chocolate only is popular in countries that have affordable air-conditioned delivery trucks and stores. Chocolate starts to melt at about 30 degrees C, so hot areas cant enjoy good chocolate. Japan was in this boat until about 30 years ago.
Even now in China, with its growing affluence, chocolate is not that popular and foreign companies dominate the market. In Japan, chocolate culture is dominated by Japanese companies.

Dont bow to pressure from white-anters around you.
Look at leaders of other countries. Illegal wars, sex scandals, corruption and extra-judicial murder cant unseat most world leaders, but in Japan, a sometimes-mistress or an illegally installed water cooler can cost you the job.

I visit a few sites where both genuine Japanese girls and impersonating trolls take part.
It is obvious. Ok, generalisation time but prove me wrong (yes, that is how you spell it)
Japanese girls dont have that kind of sense of humour or use those turns of phrase (making heads turn?)
Japanese women both online or in real life never give a genuine opinion on other women in public. You wont get much more than a "kawaii." In private they may give their true feelings, but certainly not in front of hundreds of people to read.
Japanese women tend to give their opinions in a form of a question - that way they cant be accused of being too forward. A statement on a picture like this would more likely be "Do you think she is cute?" not "bolooded beautiful" or whatever.
Hate me yeah, but what I say is true.

All this talk about how much of a god Valentino is - well, Stoner won on the Ducati and now the Honda. Valentino cant win squat on the Ducati.

Post makes no sense whatsoever.
As for Marie, she is fine and dandy but she has taken more beatings than a clay court.
My advice - forget education and marry a rich guy before you are 27. There are precious few chances beyond that my dear. God forbid - I might end up one of those chances...

It isnt hatred. It is just fair criticism of an idiot. She is plain and simple, a moron. She must make the intellectuals of America cringe with embarrassment. Some of the smartest and most well-read people I have met have been Americans and if someone like Sarah Palin challenged them, they wouldnt hesitate to destroy her. They simply wouldnt tolerate someone like her who hasnt read a book since high school.
I am embarrassed for her to be honest. When I see her being challenged by someone with half a brain, she looks like a rabbit on a headlights before acting like a wolverine on no-doze. I have to switch channels because it is so bad.
Anyway, she isnt running next year so I shouldnt have to hear from her ever again. A repulsive, republican Michael Dukakis with half his I.Q. Goodbye Sarah - go get a real job.

I agree with some of the posters here - there is absolutely no reason for me to go to this place. I know that Saizeriya serves half-decent, cheap and quick Italian styled food. Yeah, I will go there. Bikkuri Donkey does a very filling hamburger set for less than 1000 Yen with an interesting atmosphere and Big Boy has unlimited soft drinks, salad bar and good steak for about the same price.
But Gusto? A weird mix of Japanese stuff and hybrid other stuff that is barely palatable and all the while I am paying extra for every cola or soup.
Just make it a viking style buffet, all you can eat with drinks included for 1600 Yen during the week and I might consider it.

Japanese bars, especially hotel bars are rubbish. Stuck in the bubble era with 80s decor to match. Boring staff, boring customers, overpriced drinks, full of smoke (cigar smoke too) and I am not interested in paying 800 Yen simply to sit down and get a bowl of crackers.
There are no foreigners I know who would want to go for a drink in one of these establishments nor any tourists who come to Japan. It seems not too many Japanese want to drink in these sort of places because the few times I have been caught there, they are usually fairly empty.
Had Bill Murray been taken to my local Izakaya, the movie would have moved from drama to comedy.
