In defense of the author, I have yet to buy a book or related book from the same authors noted on JT that weren't good or really good. Somewhere there is going to be an exception. I do not think Makiko Itoh will be the one.

"Barbarella", "Lifeforce", not worth watching again. "Plan 9 from Outer Space", "They saved Hitler's Brain", "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", these are so bad they are funny. Biggest let-down, hugely over-hyped movie "The Philadelphia Story".

Find as many ways as possible to incorporate the languages. Vary the approaches. Use them often. Speak, repeat, recite and have them repeat back to you on a regular basis. Go to movies with subtitles. To add, anyone can become bilingual, age means nothing. Have faith in yourself.
