I agree with elbudamexicano, the automatic hugs and kisses, that cultural aborption, happens quickly. The scenes I have been a witness to have been pretty funny.
Now when they return to however, the story can be a little sad. Often, no matter how discourged with less expressive cultures, hugs and kisses will reappear in custom/familiar company. Not just Central or South American. There are sections of the US, as well.
Hugs and kisses are perfectly acceptable, even welcome. Dispise air kisses.

"Women are bit more tolerant of lesbians than men are of gay males, now why on earth is that?"
HonestDictator, you know how men can tell what each other are talking about, or those of the same generation or culture--when others don't have a clue?
Women have different ways of expressing discrimination. I didn't know the facts myself until I took a class, spoke to others. Ask anyone that is a minority the differences between expressed discrimination in the North versus the South. Just as an example. Some you have to see to believe.

Folks, you are kind of in the wrong area, and wrong country, to be emphasizing an assumed value of short anything. That goes especially for people. Cruise has long been a friend of Japan. And veteran actors should not be undervalued. As for developing a liking for Japan, Depp it seems has come around as well, and for the better.

Could we not run Howdy Doody? Maybe the other party could run Godzilla. We'd have a Howdy Doody vs Godzilla race. Neither are Washington DC insiders. Seems fair...

Love the brown scarf against that soft black background. Creative outfits to the far left and far right. And the Zoot suit chain, very interesting. Begs the question, who got hit with the di-dee blasters?
