Ok, this is a good idea, but why is it only experimental? The technology is sound and is being used by many countries. Why aren't they going all out to make a dent in Japan's dependance on nuclear power and fossil fuels. Sadly, I only see this as a public pleasing political stunt that will have no real impact what so ever!

What as load of invalid rhetorical posts! The only reason Apple gets singled out for their manufacturing in China is because they are so popular! Most technology companies manufacture in China and in the same factories as Apple under the same conditions. I saw another report today that Apple shares have become the most valuable in the world. Why? Because it is a good product! That's why!

5 and 3 home alone? Now, they are both dead! How many times do we have to read this scenario before these irresponsible twits take note and stop leaving little kids at home alone. Yeah, life is tough, babysitters are hard to find, you have to make money, bla, bla, bla. No excuse! It is just blatant irresponsibility and should be considered negligence bordering on child abuse!

It is hard type sarcasm! It just seems odd that with Japan's strict gun control there seems to be many gun relayed crimes within the syndicates, hence my previous post.

It doesn't matter who runs TEPCO. inevitably every resident in Japan will end up footing the bill in either taxes or increased electricity costs.

Another day another infanticidal Japanese loon! I can just imagine the nut sitting there calmly when her mum asked her about the baby. "where is my grandson?" "Oh, he won't be joining us today. I strangled him!" WTF!!!!

OssanAmerica - "The FBI defines eco-terrorism as the use or threatened use of violence of a criminal nature against innocent victims or property by an environmentally-oriented, subnational group for environmental-political reasons, or aimed at an audience beyond the target, often of a symbolic nature."

Are the Japanese whalers innocent victims? Really?

Escape_Artist - Why are you so, um, disillusioned? That was then, this is now.

Um, I guess you are not old enough to remember the huge anti-nuclear protests of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Sadly, they never happened in Japan to the extent they happened in Europe and the US. The Japanese just went on blind faith from the J-Gov and the US. Now, a generation later, they are regretting it.

Where were these protesters 40 years ago when Japan instigated its nuclear program? Now, they have witnessed what everybody knew about nuclear power and want to turn back time? It's too late! Japan has no alternative than to use nuclear power because they threw all their eggs into the nuclear basket. The Japanese have to get used to it. Nuclear power is here to stay in Japan and protesting will do nothing except keep the Prime Ministerial revolving door spinning.

Ah, so to decrease the amount of people using hospitals they make it too expensive for people to go there? What a wonderful system.

Welcome to North Korea! This song is nothing short of a three hundred year old rakugo poem and not a national anthem! I completely sympathize with the teachers. However, refusing to stand during the playing is disrespectful. The don't have to honor the song, but the should at least honor their national flag.

Nuclear power can be safe and efficient if it is established properly and well maintained. Unfortunately, TEPCO and the J-Gov have failed miserably creating the no-confidence feeling among Japanese and foreign people in Japan. This leaves japan in a catch 22. Most people don't want nuclear power, but Japan does not have any viable optiions at present due to investing solely in nuclear power since the 70's. Of course, going back to fossil fuels is not an option. Japan should be a world leader in geothermal energy technology cos of their geography, but again they have failed to do enough in developing an alternative energy sources. Wake up Japan! The boat is sinking!

Well, at least there are no childish cartoon characters or teenage girl mascots or cute and fluffy kittens in this campaign. However, they have still missed the point terribly! They are virtually stating, it is up to everyone else to detect symptoms of depression, which is difficult considering 60% of the population has it!
