Cocktail? How? A cocktail by definition contains alcohol: any of various short mixed drinks, consisting typically of gin, whiskey, rum, vodka, or brandy, with different admixtures, as vermouth, fruit juices, or flavorings, usually chilled and frequently sweetened.
It's a bloody soft drink!!!

**Christina O'Neill - Killing them for research, research into what? **
The so-called 'research' is used to produce population numbers (declining ones) and they also release small amounts of info about toxins in the whale meat, all of which can be obtained through non-lethal methods. They then state that they also research the whale's diet to support lethal research and come up with the argument that whales eat too many fish.
And, just yesterday, we had this week's Japanese Prime Minister on the news telling China how they should behave in a more globally responsible manner.

Something is strange though. I know that if a stranger tried to pick up one of my kids they would play havoc and make so much noise it would be impossible for someone not to notice something in a busy supermarket car park. I know the article states the was asleep, but if she was in a car seat she would have woken up when being removed. I think the flops should be checking acquaintances of this kid and family and dare I say it, the mental stability of the mother.

Good for Toyota! You wouldn't expect the police or the J-Gov to sponsor such an initiative.

Leaving a kid in a car is a serious criminal offense in Australia, no matter what length of time and carries severe fines and the kids are removed from their parents until they can prove they are responsible enough to have them back. In Japan it is common place for people to leave kids in cars. I can't remember how many times I scolded my ex for doing the same thing. It is just such a stupid and irresponsible thing to do and incidents like this just prove why it is so stupid! I hope the little girl is OK, but this so-called 'parent' deserves to be punished and losing her kid is a good start.

Yeah, good luck with that. It won't change anything. Japan will still get a good stomping on! The only way they could win that match was if the All Blacks didn't show up although, there would still be a chance Japan would beat themselves.

Well, I think it has made the world a bit safer, especially for travelling. The heightened security at airports has decreased the number of potential loons boarding planes with malicious intent. However, as for terrorism in general, it has little effect. It is no different to the situation in Australia 20 odd years ago when guns were banned. There was a slogan floating around at the time, 'If guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have guns'. Terrorism will still prevail regardless of measures taken to prevent it.
