They should bring back 'real' capital punishment and put this loser in the stocks at Shibuya crossing so we can all have a go at teaching him a lesson! - Whenever an article like this pops up it is nearly always the same scenario. An older single J-mum shacked up with a younger punk J-male. There is nothing in the article to say if they were a couple or if he was just a boarder, but I am not sure who to blame, the punk or the woman that let this sh!t happen to her child.

He went out with a 'BANG' on the front of a train. These pathetically selfish individuals do this in peak hour vos they know how muh trouble it will cause. Now, there will be renewed calls for barriers on platforms, but that is not treating the problem, only the symptoms. The hundred or so people who commit suicide in Japan everyday will just find other ways to upset the ebb and flow when they off themselves.

So, if one guy stabbed three cops, how many cops were there? Was this guy a 200k monster wielding a 4 foot blade? Unlikely! - Damn! If you pull a knife on a cop in Oz you are shot dead - End of story! Gotta love the 'passive' police force in Japan. "Take one for the team!"

Hang on! 460 fishermen requesting 425 millinon yen is less than 10 grand a piece. Is that just to cover loss of earnings so far? It still seems too little. C'mon TEPCO! Start coughing up you bastards! You had the responsibility of supplying the SE of Japan with nuclear power and now it has fallen to bits and displaced thousands of people and ruined hundreds of industries and livelihoods, as has been predicted by countless thousands of environmentalists for half a century. They were right! Cough up! - Cheap power? Nyuk! Nyuk!

I'm with Cleo. The question is not whether Kan made the right choice in closing down one plant. The question is, did Japan make a wise choice putting 90% of their power needs into over 50 nuclear power plants? When talking to the locals about this I always get the same self-pitying response, "Japan has no resources, so nuclear power is the best choice." Guess what? They are wrong! One disaster at one plant is gonna devastate the economy and totally disrupt the infrastructure of the kanto region. It would have been cheaper to supply the nation with generators.
Posted in: Do you think Prime Minister Naoto Kan made the right decision when he asked Chubu Electric to shut down the Hamaoka nuclear plant which stands in an area where a magnitude-8 earthquake is strongly projected?

She would lift my spirits in any lingerie. - I agree with the sentiment of this product, but the idea is pretty stupid. It is underwear, right? How would anybody know a woman was wearing it unless she actually told them? It doesn't make any sense.
