Execution is the only medicine for scum like this. He took a life of an 18 years old teenager!!! He should die slowly in a same fashion as he brutally murdered this child, strangling her without any humanity inside him. Confession alone shouldn't be a cause to look through this crime with any simpathy. Her blood is screaming for the justice.

Ms.Yuko Tanaka, with all due respect, i can definitely see that you have never gotten yourself into a situation where your life was at stake, or jeopardized by thief who broke into your house with intent to steal your money, jewelry or anything else of value. Tanaka san is talking about total insanity of sparing criminals' lives!!! Would you propose same idea if scum of the Earth invaded your parents home, killed them in their sleep and took everything of value? Would you beg for their lives to be spared so that you can try to "study" their senseless minds??? Dear Tanaka san, with all due respect, you are a real threat to society.

Posted in: Our approach to reducing crime should not be killing those who harm us. On the contrary, in the interest of learning what makes them tick, we should keep violent criminals alive and conduct thorough research on them.

Wow, i wouldn't wanna buy such car even at lower price!! If you wanna save on gas drive manual transmission cars. I wouldn't drive automatics at all. Nissan, i liked your cars while ago, but instead on focusing on making your cars greener, you're focusing on taking freedom from drivers, sure not the way to go, thumb down...

In Japanese schools, starting from elementary all the way up to university, kids aren't being taught about good manners anymore. When did you see last time a teenager stand up and give a seat to elderly person on a train? It goes way back to sixties when poor parenthood skills started taking effect. Kids can now break the whole supermarket and being unsupervised while parents are shopping. When parents see what their child has done they simply say "yamette kudasai, hontoni yamette..." If my child did something like that trust me he/she would never again get such an idea. Kids grown in this way turn into cold people without any love for environment, parents or not even to mention people on the street that they stab with knife for sporting "stress relief"... Watch your back! Keep your eyes wide open! Be on constant lookout! If you see some idiot stabbing someone take the nearest bicycle as your weapon and smash it onto attacker's head without any remorse and then take his knife away and let someone call the police while you're still holding the attacker in arm lock for police to take over. Times are sure changing and once safe country is slowly becoming a dangerous place to live unless you watch your back.

Quite a few Americans that i know are very environmentally oriented and aware of how deep trouble this planet is in. Some have changed their gas guzzler cars, some have gotten off the grid by going full solar... Going green could create a tremendous new industry and employment opportunity, however it takes time for old fashioned farts like Bush to fully grasp the potential of it. American people are a wonderful nation but badly misrepresented through Bush 's poor world policies. Let's really hope Obama will bring more to American people, but God help us all if McCain wins the final election...

Rotting in prison won't change his feeling of deep satisfaction after murdering thousands of people in Bosnia. He will always have his smirk on his face while thinking:"You idiots, you think you can hurt me, haha, i have slaughtered thousands already and nothing can bring those people back." This guy is sicko and should be executed. Why waste money for his, hotel like, future prison which is equipped with all luxuries that most poor people could only dream about. If there is any justice in all this he should be literally rotting in some mexican dungeon...

Well Sarge, hope you'll get this message... I know what you mean about the rich and famous and their (to planet) destructive life styles but please try to ponder over just one simple fact alone: forested area of one Britain size is been deforested annually. We, small people don't matter as individuals but we could make a tremendous positive impact if all act as one. Most people are too selfish to even try to change their ways. It was really disappointing to read so many insane and irresponsible comments from so called "civilized" human beings. Talking about the selfishness, how many people would do heck about environment if they had won a lottery? I play lottery every week. IF i ever win i have already decided to spend 80 percent of it on buying barren and deforested land with a purpose of reforestation and making protected national parks. Well, its my dream anyways lol, but if it comes true I promise to God that the money would be spent in reforestation... Cheers to all people of good will, people who can feel the pain of our dying planet and take some sort of action... Eizenhauer :)

Guys, rethink again, its about our biological footprint that we leave on this dying planet. Everything matters. I've changed all my light bulbs. Drive my car only when its absolutely necessary, turn off the water when applying soap in shower, i don't travel my air, we use biologically degradable and environment friendly dish soaps, eat far less meat than before (feeling far better because of it too). Now folks, imagine the positive impact on the planet of we would all do something, whatever is in our power to contribute to cleaner planet...People like Hobart Mark are to be pitied and felt sorry for just for their "don't give a damn" kind of attitude.

Maybe her heart might change someday in future and she starts to contribute some of her money into ecology plans like reforestation or new clean and earth friendly energy technology. Ahem, back to reality, her wedding style and vanity clearly shows that she doesn't really give a damn about our dying planet...

What an idiot of a teacher! He probably peered up her skirt in such an obvious way that other students reported him immediately to the principal. But wait, did he molest her, touch her or showed any seductive gestures towards her? Arrested for a quick peek up the stairs where the young slut with super short skirt happened to walk?! Give the man his job back and apologize to him for this inhumane and unusual extreme humiliation...

There kinds of crimes are increasing dramatically. Son kills mother, son kills father,... The main problem is in upbringing of these kids who are being brought up in a wrong way by parents who know very little about parenting skills. Kids are allowed to grow with this idea that everything must be given to them. Yes, served on a plate! Recently i saw a child running in the supermarket and wildly pushing shopping cart and knocking lots of items off the aisles. Mother is softly telling the boy to stop if possible!! The boy carelessly continues knocking stuff down, mother then approaches the child and gently tells him its not so nice thing to do... If he was my son he'd be dealt with the old way and never even think of doing the same thing again. The whole society in Japan is going down the drain. Seen these kind of scenarios a bit too often. How often do you see a kid give a seat to elderly people on the train? Mannerless parents who bring up mannerless children without any restrictions in their youth... yuck!

It seems like scores of teachers in Japan are having this huge mental problem of being attracted to kids. I think all kids should be well educated about the problem and report any unusual behavior from their teachers. At the same time these predators who pray on kids should be treated by justice system more severely and rot in prison for a long time.
