Zen Builder- your statements is just outrageous. What you are alleging is that the majority of blacks in South Africa were essentially happy with their lot, happy little tribal operatives dancing along and if it were not for a few agitators like Mandela. That they were essentially happy with their smoked hazed shanty towns, no toilets, inferior education and the ever present racial glass ceiling. That they were happy to clean white homes take care of white children while their own languish in poverty and disease.
Blacks and whites never got along in South Africa. What existed was an uneasy peace that had the black majority firmly positioned at the wrong end of an automatic weapon. If they got along so well then why were there so many blacks killed by the authorities under suspicious circumstances? Why were there so many blacks imprisoned without trial? Why were there thousands of black political prisoners under Apartheid? If they got along so well then why is it that the entire budget of the White South Africa armed forces were geared towards acquiring the capacity to put down unrest in the townships? The white regimes use of armored personnel carriers with special positioned guns became the weapon of choice against protesting black school children. Man get a grip!!!!

Zen Builder you are insane to suggest that racism in South Africa has been more a product of black on black violence. Apartheid was a state institution designed to maintain the status quo, where whites including many Jews occupied the apex of south African society and the disenfranchised blacks at the bottom.
It severely affected the lives of black people who were required to carry ID cards indicated where they were permitted to go. Whites did not have to carry ID cards, and If you say that was not personal then what is? Under apartheid for all blacks what you will be in life was determined at birth.
The white security forces under Apartheid operated like death squads terrorizing the black community. Moreover, they had strict control of the media and the judiciary was in total support of the system and as such many crimes against blacks were never reported or let alone prosecuted. In short, apartheid allowed whites to mistreat blacks with impunity and you say it was not personal. Individual whites loved Apartheid and wanted it to remain as it benefited them and gave them a high standard of living predicated on the subjugation of millions.

Republicans believe that they have somehow cornered the market on patriotism. It is just absurd to think that Senator Obama's allegiance to America can be questioned based on whether he chooses to wear or not to wear a pin. This notion of appeasement if you talk to your enemies is no different from the approach that Ronald Regan took towards the Soviet Union during the cold war and won. The current policies toward Iran and other rogue states are not working and common sense is suggesting that we try another approach.

There is always a better chance of a resolution if you talk to the people you are in disagreement with. It just makes sense in the course of any plan to find a common ground. In fact, it is exceedingly arrogant to take the position that they are not worth the time to talk with. It follows that same insane and patently stupid position that if they don't agree with us they are against us.

While nice personality, intelligence and being considerate is all that, but those qualities alone just don't cut it for me. My Japanese partner is just devastatingly attractive, she walks in a room and all in it is compelled to focus on her. It happens whether we are in Australia or America. She has all the features I have outlined in an earlier post, and that is skinny, bow legged, pigeon towed, tall, Prada wearing Louis Vuitton babe. She even fitted that classic mole of being a parasite single when I first met her.
I have to admit it is the share primacy of physical perfection over anythings else that initially drove by fascination for her. And now after two years she has changed into that classic partner, intensely loyal and totally supportive in every way. She just clings to my arm in airports, restaurants or a stroll in the park, it is almost embarrassing but I would not have it any other way.
The story for guys out there is never ever settle, go for the most beautiful in room and then assess her personality later. You have just the same chance of discovering that she is not only beautiful but have all the other qualities that binds relationship.

This disaster has done more to expose the Juntas than anything else. They will forever and until they are opposed in someway be defined by how they handled this tragedy. They have been revealed for the evil that they are and sympathy will only grow for the people on whose heads they have their boots firmly parked. This entire episode may be a blessing in disguise for the oppressed people of Mayanmar

scanner4u- whats insincere about this effort to provide massive assistance is the behavior of the Juntas. They are only interested in receiving aid as long as it follows their guidelines, their conditions. The military rulers don't really care about the dead and dying that have littered the roads for the last 8 days. Their inability to effectively distribute the basic aid that is required, and at the same time insisting that certain aid organizations are not welcome is outrageous. It tells me that we are dealing with a group of Fascist, who are quite willing to allow thousands to die a slow death, rather than exposing the population to the possibility of interacting with others who can offer massive relief to their condition.

That is just the Aussie way. I suspect she has been swimming since she was 3 and is probably a very strong swimmer. Most Aussies are use to the water and have spent a lot of time in it growing up. That she jump in there and pulled the guy out is not so unusual down=under

I don't mind spending my money on Japanese women. Hell i will spend the rent money if its required. I did very well with Western women before I shifted focus. I simply got bored with their unending neurosis about everything. I went to Japan initially for work and in the process discovered the enchanting grace of these women. The Japanese women i have known have been intensely loyal and considerate and not all did expect me to pay for everything but I would have if they wanted me to.

I am at a point now where I have to admit, Western women are invisible to me. I just don't see them anymore, too fat, too opinionated, have an inflated perception of their own physical beauty and really don't understand how to dress. And it is just not about wearing jeans or not, its how you put it together - style, design how it fits etc.
There is no substitute for those Skinny, pigeon towed, bowlegged Prado wearing Louie Vuitton Japanese women. Their butts fit in the palm of your hands with nothing spilling over the side, there is just no excess, i just love them!!
