Do these opponents realize that there is a referendum that must be passed among voting citizens before anything can take place?

I believe, like others have said , these posters have caused complaints because they are a slap in the face, something that wrenches your attention. No fluff, idols or silly mascot. People don't want the mirror of realityheld in front of their face, that's why everything is flowered up. Wake up, this isn't Disneyland....... real people are suffering, does that make you uncomfortable, well good, deal with it.

If this were a polititian in any other country, the next news we'd hear about was his resignation, but no, not here it's just apologies and 'most regeretable' and back to business as usual. Japan's bid should be disqualified.

More scare-mongery by the Japanese media, to keep the populace in a heightened sense of fear, and suspicion of China. It's like a big neon arrow pointing away from the problem.

They went for the mother as an easy target, it's despicable ..... why not the employer ? Oh yeah, that's right, we all know how well people within the construction / heavy plant industry are connected to people who run this country.

Fact, the big difference between the murderer Mao's tomb and the Yasukuni shrine is one holds the bones of a mass-muderer and the other holds none
Bones, ashes .... what's the difference. You're just splitting hairs here.

PM Abe must visit to Yasukuni Shrine for to pay respect to victim of WWII
There wouldn't have been any war dead if they hadn't fancied expanding their empire over Asia. They militaristic government started the Pacific war, yet paint themselves as victims.

The 15-year-old victim was talking to a male friend outside the apartment block when she was attacked by a woman brandishing a knife
Hmmm, although not mentioned, I realise how loud a couple of teens talking can be, of course there's no need to go crazy-ape-bonkers with a knife......but I imagine they were being noisy outside her apartment. Guess we'll never get the full story.

I don't believe this tale, I think rocket news have taken this from an old 'urban myth' and changed it slightly. Unless of course, the culprit heard that same tale and thought that it would be an effective way to meet women (only not attempt to kill them).
