I wonder if everybody is scared by Nebuta and that is why there are no comments? Seems very colorful, the boat with Nebuta, the lights and the gathered people. I like how men dress at festivals. They show too much flesh, and when the body is athletic and muscled, it looks good.

Seiyu's sales decreased not because of the cancelled distribution of fliers but because the quality of the goods dropped considerably, especialy since its cooperation with Walmart. Before that there were some good things in the shops but now most of the things, especially clothes, are real garbage. Sorry but I hate Walmart and Seyu now.

I think an explanation what Nebuta is should be put in the caption of the photo. Nebuta are large creatures drawn on the boat who scare the enemy.

Sarge, you cannot convince me that Japanese men's volleyball team has any considerable success. There are many teams better than it: USA, Brasil, Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, France, Finland, Argentina, Spain etc and etc. If Japan beats any them, ok, I can recognize a little partial success. Sorry, for the volleball team to the mods.

Sarge, are you joking?
BTW I support only Kitajima (swimming) and Murofushi (hammer) and the men judoists.
Not for long because they are in one group with one very important team!

yes, games will be successful for China and Russia and maybe USA in terms of medals. But I think Japan won't be able to win many medals, maybe in swimming and marathon and judo.

I hope, you guys, won't be joking with this. The man has still to undergo a lot of therapy and will meet a lot of difficulties on the way to recovery, and it is unknown whether his body will accept the foreign organs or not. I hope everything is fine and he will be able to use his hands in future.

I would like to ask where the Japanese government borrowed this suit fashion from. The British?? I noticed that the men in the government always wear these suits in inauguration ceremonies.

swearing in a foreign language does not appear to us as ugly and rude as in our native language, so many people prefer to swear in a foreign language instead in their own. Maybe Ichiro swears only in english and not in Japanese because he does not comprehend completely the impact of his words.
