My prince is judoka Uchishiba. He was fierce and fervent, almost killed his French adversary and even he did not notice the French guy was in pain and was tapping on the tatami with his hand, asking for interruption of the game. Not very good sportsmanship but the gold medal above all, that is what Japan wants!

It was a very beautiful and dramatic ceremony, especially the countdown with the drums of light, the lighted model of the Earth and the starting of the Olympic fire. I do not find the ceremony nationalistic. China has the right to be proud of many things because it has given a lot to the world. Many ideas in the opening ceremny were very artful and moving.
