bureaucracy - the major one problem throughout the world, it gets in the way of everything.

Iraq can afford to pay its own way once they sort them selves out and get to pumping oil, give the money to the struggling.

Can always rent the place out to cover the mortgage, or if you are scared of commitment and do not have stability then maybe renting is the cotton wool safe way to live for some.

This will either push japan to develop more sustainable safe technology for electricity or they will just turn on the nuke plants, lets hope they use their heads and choose the former

Aside from the tax relieve, If you have bought right you can pay your mortage and later in life you can sell the property and get most of or all of the money you have paid in mortage payments back in the sale price, lets just say you will lose less, plus often the mortage payments will be less than what you currently pay in rent, property does not increase here in value like in aussie , uk or NZ so making tons of money off owing a house is not happening here.

Plus you can reform remodel the place to suit yourself and you also get other advantages from being a property owner, ie having a fixed asset.

But if you rent after years of living there all you can do is move out and expect nothing back.

And why would any one believe this new figure they are saying? Little by little the real truth is unveiled, because they now state this or that still does not mean full disclosure, its just one more small step down the path to the real and whole truth. It maybe 20 or 50 years untill the full truth is uncovered or disclosed.

hiking the cost of a pack of cigarettes to NZ$100 ($75

Would only mean the shop keeprs will need to operate out of a bank vault as the theives and robbers will have even more motivation to steal these high priced sought after items.

What they need to do is fund programs etc to encourage and help people to quit, govt subsidised meds to aid the thequitting process etc.

Failed bank, failed policies, failed governer, 1 mayor wants to ban people from drinking who work for the govt, another doesnt want people with tattoos working in the govt and this idjit wants to buy islands in the pacific, summer madness has struck those who sit on their hands in govt offices thats for sure.

Japan really is gurgling down the plug hole now at increasing speed.

Every man, woman and child deserves a fair trial. No exceptions.

You are very correct but if however during the course of arrest the suspect resists and is uncooperative and is then killed during the ensuing struggle that is labeled as tuff titty.

If you don't resist and struggle and don't have your body guards fire at the arresting officers then there is a good chance you will make it your "fair trial", others cannot be held responsible for your death due to your unreasonable behaviour.

Everyone gets pissed at others from time to time but we excersie enough self control to continue our lives without whipping out a knife and slashing the ones who annoy us, if you have self control , anger issues there are places you can go to get help.

If you have issues and do nothing then you really are mad. This guy with the survival knife certainly has issues and not only needs prison time but also mental help, I hope he gets plenty of both. Pleased the Jcops got the scum bad too.

Ridiculous to even think this sort of behaviour can even exist in these modern times, now lets all wait and see what that other dickhead of a mayor (Ishihara in tokyo) comes up with to match these other two clowns.

How did these idjits get voted in in the first place surely the local japanese cant be THAT gullable can they?

Good for him. Tattoos are trashy.

In some countries and cultures tattooes are a status symbol and go way back before people even had pens to get the ink, i dare you to tell the maori chief or his warriors to his face that he looks trashy.
