I'm sure they've already done it, and are now trying to make it legal. Still, I don't envy the agents given the task of going through gobs of drivel in an effort to find any terrorist threats, or even anything all that interesting. Imagine! You're sitting at your desk at the new division, and someone brings you 700 links to potentially threatening cat videos. After the first eight, I'd be thinking about a transfer.

I think the article doesn't make a clear enough distinction between growing permissiveness and growing dishonesty, taking examples from the wrong column to support conclusions about the other column. If people are doing more drugs, they are more permissive, not more dishonest. If more people are cheating on tests, they are more dishonest, not more permissive. Whether Britain is done or not, I have no idea.

hmmm....To me, being more tolerant of certain things doesn't necessarily mean that people are less honest.

Well there is some discussion of carrots and sticks vs carrots on sticks, and lost original meaning and all that, but I suggest that the second image might be better appreciated by fans.

Lots of info about the debris at the link above, but lots of qualifiers: may, might, could, probably.

The first batch of stuff is unlikely to be radioactive, but the twentieth or thirtieth batch might be. I hope they're at least considering what to do in that eventuality. It probably won't be stuff directly from the nuke plant, but could easily be stuff coated by fallout from the event. Most of it would have headed east or northeast, I imagine, and could have settled on top of any floating debris.

Yes, and the cesium in the firewood that has already been burned has been coming down on any new wood that has been prepared. In about 120 years everything should be fine, though.

Not a frequent Facebook user ... I think it's weird people want to share with their friends what they had for breakfast and such things and that freinds want to comment on it, but okay.... I suppose commenting on news about gold found in rectums at the airport is not so much better. Anyway, the last time I checked in, people who use Facebook a lot were griping in groups and clusters about Timeline and other unwanted changes. It seems to be part of a trend to find something people like and mess it up.

So "reports" says this, but police have declined to confirm the reports. But the reports came from the police? The Sankei daily cites unnamed police sources that the man didn't have any defensive injuries, but says nothing about footprints... And then, the lack of bloody footprints idea came from Nippon Television? Not from the police? I'm confused. Does anyone suspect a drive-by circumcision?

So the tests were okay, but they didn't print enough, didn't distribute them properly, and didn't have enough IC players or the ones they had were broken? Those are pretty big mistakes for such an experienced group! I feel sorry for the students, as they really get wrapped up in these tests, and are going to be hard-pressed to relax and take them again.
