Looks like Dream Beach was his last dream. Nobody died during that accident, so I can't understand why he wanted to commit suicide.

It is sad in the first place that countries have military. I don't see why some countries can have great military and others can't. I agree with zichi, the Chinese have suffered enough, they deserve a nice life too.

I make very fancy rye/whole wheat breads with my bread maker and they cost less than 100 Yen. I am so lucky to live in the countryside. We get more time to make all these natural foods, no museums, concerts or art galleries to go to up here. Saves a lot of time and money.

I was thinking about a meteorite as well. The logo is nice itself but maybe not to represent animation, a gasoline stand maybe.

It is so ridiculous that so many white gaijins think that they always must compete against each other. Look at the Korean and Chinese communities, they are working together and helping each other out.

@Maitake: Try the Chinese restaurant in Duo2 in Shin-Sapporo Station. By far the best I ever found up here.

Human Target,
Being addressed with first name is perfectly fine if I would be in America because it is part of their culture. It is however not part of my culture nor is it a part of Japanese culture. To me it shows disrespect when strangers address me that way. Even the postman here does it, calling out loud 'Foxie-san, I have a package for you'. I mean, what are they thinking? And that, eventhough my Japanese family name is written in Japanese all over it. And I never even had an affair with the postman.

The only sad thing about all those activities/hobbies here is that you make really good friends whilst doing them but you can never ask those people to do something beyond those activities.
Never write those cards either. It is really fun to read your articles.

It bugs me even more when I go to the hospital and the doctor, whom I have never met before, wanting to brag with his English, calls me with my first name like they do in America.
I mean, we didn't go together to the same kindergarten now, did we?

Nicky, is Seagaia open again? I had a fabulous time in Miyazaki too. Tourism is definitely down up here in Hokkaido, for no reason really. Can't understand why it is booming in Kansai on the other hand.
