Ueno was incredible. What will Japan have left for the gold medal game? Kind of strange format they're using. The U.S. could possibly lose the Gold medal to a team they demolished twice already.

Yeah, I remember them going a bit overboard with the celebrating at the WBC. However, a few days ago (when Korea beat Japan 5-3) the Koreans walked off the field like they knew they were the better team.

I will not sugarcoat their lost. They were destored by a fearless Korean team. A real letdown performance from the Japanese ladies considering their previous match against the Koreans.

I can imagine Hamaguchi winning a gold medal one of these days. That would be a crazy scene! Her exuberant display after winning the bronze made me feel real good/genki.

WOW Japan seems to have been totally humbled in their rematch with Korea for the bronze. I expected a tight match, a 5 set thriller. Instead, I saw a scared Japanese team annihilated.
