    yasukuni,

I have ZERO problems with what he did. It's HIS body and he is entitled to do as he pleases, though I wouldn't want to eat his bits..lol
That said, If I ever feel like chopping something off my body and eat it, it will be my OWN business. I own my body and I will do with it as I see fit. Honestly speaking I just don't find human flesh appealing..yuck! and certainly, wouldn't want to eat from my own body or anyone else's for that matter.

Who cares about genitals size? Only insecure people with zero self confidence and very low self esteem. But to eat one's genitals cooked and seasoned? no thanks! ;-)

And then they had the shame to bring up the poor penguin inside such an ugly cage that looked like a nightmare in front of people taking pictures hysterically.

I can only imagine the suffering that this little creature will be subjected to at the expensive of a bunch of fools paying for some tasteless attraction in order to feed their animal torture fetish.

A little question... where is the father of the children ? Mothers are always alone... good times, bad times... too easy to blame them..

Excellent question indeed... Perhaps the children were "abducted" and the father wasn't allowed to meet with them as it happens in many of these cases... Perhaps the opposite and the father didn't care or offered any help? Too many questions that will go unanswered until we know more details. Only one thing for sure:

THREE INNOCENT YOUNG CHILDREN WERE BRUTALLY MURDERED BY THEIR OWN MOTHER.

It's Singapore where charcoal is under lock & key in stores, to stop people loading up for suicide attempts.

This is JAPAN unfortunately. You will find these items being sold just about everywhere, especially in those DIY stores like Joyful Honda and D2. Killing yourself is honorable in this country, not many Japanese people will be condemning this act, instead some would probably just "praise" her courage and determination. Sick if you ask me. RIP

what is there to discuss after so many epic keystone fails? It will take at least 67 meetings to set up 8 or 9 panels to re-discuss the possibility to have a "discussion of possibilities". Meanwhile, while they prepare their coffees and teas, people will keep getting harassed and killed. And they will be still considering possibilities in a meeting!

    Nothing new here, move on.

when i read this i almost threw up. not from the irresponsibility of the mother, nor from the fact he fell 11 floors to the ground below, but from the fact he was still alive when they took him to that hospital... to be just 3 years old and in that much pain... its unbearable to say the least.

this kind of negligence is UNACCEPTABLE

it tears my heart up every time i see a story like this.

children are supposed to be the light of every paren'ts life, a precious gift that needs loving attention to nurture it into a good person, but sadly this 3 year old will never make it to adult hood..... rest in peace little one..

I was about to post something when I saw yours. This is everything and beyond of what I wanted to express. Thank You.

That said, my heart is once again in excruciating pain.

RIP little angel. May your mother see your face every night she goes to sleep.

Why can't they just go to court like any normal people?

Because we all know Japan Inc. will never lose?

That said, I can't imagine what was going on through this old man's head to make him chop off the other geezer's arm, but by the 1 or 2 details in this half baked article one can just wonder...

You know, Japan is facing a serious population decrease problem. We cannot expect a baby from the same sex marriage. So, it is natural that some Japanese oppose to it.

Since when "WE" have to expect a baby from somebody? I could care less if the population is declining. No one is gonna force anything on anybody! Women are not born to become baby factories..and neither are men for that matter. A woman (or man) will have a baby if only SHE/HE so desires...that's decision is hers/his ONLY. Same with Gay couples. Their decision! Not "WE"!!!

@kurisupisu: Anal sex has, according to statistics, been part of many people's "lifestyle", so what? This is an uttelry idiotic argument ("If gay people can marry, then what's to stop someone marrying a baby, or a cow, or a chair, or an ice cream?").

Maybe part of people's lifestyle around you but certainly not MINE! Ugh Gross...

That said, Gays have my full support... I don't give a rat's behind about their sex lifestyle. Who cares...

Bear was surprised? And the farmer was not surprised? I don't know if there is a need to kill the animal, but if it posses even a slight risk, it should be killed. Everybody talks about safety precautions, and this incident also requires safety precautions. First people, then any animals.

Talking about Neanderthals with superiority complex... LOL

Some people (conveniently?) forget that besides having basic human and civil rights, freedom of speech and choice of religion, no one in this world has the right to discriminate someone based on their SKIN COLOR or SEXUAL PREFERENCE.

That said, Gays don't hurt me in any way. They have my full support! :-)

Oh great, just what I want my kids to be exposed to while at Disney

What? Two people celebraring their love for each other and making a commitment to be together forever? That's exactly the kind of thing I want my kids "exposed to", as you put it....

Well said. This is not a christian nation and it will never be! ;-)

Seems like an election-year gambit. Too bad he appears unlikely to soften up on his administration's strong stance against even medical marijuana. That would also pry loose a big chunker of votes.

Enough of man-made garbage like Crack, Cocaine, LSD, etc. Legalize Marihuana once for all!

A plant indigenous to Japan, and used for all kinds of things over centuries. Ever noticed the heritage is still all over Japan, there's a lot of names and places with the 麻 kanji 麻(P); 苧 【あさ(麻)(P); お(ok)】 (n) (1) cannabis (Cannabis sativa); hemp (plant); (2) hemp (fiber); linen; flax; jute;。But the Americans said it was bad so after WWII it was gone. Mods: sorry for the small off topic, but these are fact a lot of people don't know.

The truth hurts more than anything. It was the Americans indeed who made Marihuana "evil" therefore the Japanese bought into those lies and made it illegal. Now people are pretty desperate thus coming up with these atrocious man made garbage, worse than heroine, crack, etc. Japan is mimicking the U.S. when it comes to banning anything and everything that seem "malicious". I have long wondered how come Japan hasn't become a Bible-thumping Christian nation yet. LOL

Sometimes when I read this kind of article it makes me think that they come up with these reports as if they were proud..something like: "Look! We are the only country in the world with 30,000+ suicides every year! And the rate will keep climbing up! Look! We just had #$%# suicides on YXZ date..blah blah blah"

I find it sick and disturbing for how much emphasis they give to these "numbers" instead of just getting busy trying to get people NOT to kill themselves and help them!!

If those charges are true, it would be quite regrettable

What is "regrettable"? That he got caught in the U.S. and not Japan where he could've just walk away with a slap on the wrist? Is that we he meant by "regrettable"? LOL

Let's not forget that the term "Domestic Violence", the real thing where a person(male/female) inflicts physical/mental/emotional violence on the spouse/partner wasn't even recognize in Japan until the late 90's! Also, let's make this clear and not get it mixed up with the new unfortunate trend of lying about suffering DV just because your spouse refuses to hand you his/her whole paycheck or buy you that 500,000 yen designer bag.

Being physically assaulted/abused, having your skin burned/cut and your whole spirit crushed by some animal like this guy Nagaya must be something of a dark nightmare, especially when you are traumatized and brutalized enough to be consumed and controlled by such fear to look for help. I can't imagine all the pain and suffering she went through but I am glad she finally had the courage to come forward and expose this scum.

My prayer goes to all those souls(men and women) suffering Domestic Violence in silence whenever they are around the world.

Now the story has been updated its pretty clear that there was nothing the driver could have done. I feel really sorry for him. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine, where a kid on a bike came down a hill without brakes and crashed into his stationary car. The police arrested him, and it was only the kids parents admitting full fault and apologising to him that got him off. The police were still insisting he "take at least some responsibility" when the parents turned up at the police station. He wasnt even moving at the time - sitting at a red light, and the kids bike had no brakes!

Same here dear. The story was horribly INCOMPLETE and it made it sound like the driver indeed ran over the little girl, which is why I retracted my initial assumption and made the corrections as needed. This is a Forum nonetheless and posting something based on an incomplete article may not always agree with everyone else's point of view. That said, it doesn't change the fact that traffic laws in Japan are a shameful joke and many drivers do not respect them, same with many pedestrians, still, the truth of the matter is, as ThonTaddeo and Pukey2 stated, I have never heard of a pedestrian killing a driver, its always the opposite. If you drive a machine that can potentially kill human beings, at least pay attention to the road at all times and forget everything else. Again, driving is not a right but a privilege. It's your own responsibility to drive with extreme caution. I have met people that have lost children/family members in car accidents and trust me, you don't wanna be in their shoes.
