The whole robot thing in Japan is a bit odd. I sometimes think that the Govt. has created some sort of secret plan to finance robot manufacturing as the next wave of industrial growth.

We laugh now, but will we still be laughing when Japanese robots rule the world???

At the end of the day an electronic gadget generally lasts for 6 years before it breaks down /becomes obsolete be it is a Sony or a Acer or a Flying Pigeon Electronics Group brand.

Why pay more for something that lasts the same time and probably has many of…

All those people using the expressway would otherwise be burning up more fuel on traffic light infested side roads. So, sorry tree-huggers, this is good for the environment.

It was a very well thought out robbery and obviously done by professionals. Good escape routes, good location, both wearing clothes they planned to dispose of, escape car abandoned soon after, unmarked bills.

Bulletproof provided all involved can keep their mouths shut and watch their spending habits.

Sounds like a rough old day on the mountain. Although it did not say it in the article, I trust the police dropped some sort of supplies / instructions from the Helicopter. ie: survival bags and a note saying "stay here, we'll be back".

Hope they didn't just circle them…

Seriously though, Many Iranian run businesses have their own banking system (as the Japanese banks won't lend to foreigners......blah blah blah). Normally banks foreclose on bad debt, Iranian moneylenders do the same, just in a slightly different manner, as seen above.
