One thing I love about Tokyo is how you can step off a wide, bustling, busy street and...BOOM, you're back in the 50's.

Why do people still go to porn shops?? You can stream HD porn till your head (the one on your shoulders) falls off from the comfort (and, we hope, anonymity) of home.

This is the reason we have Unions. People are brainwashed to believe that Unions are somehow "for lazy people" or "commie", but the reality is that without Unions we would be working as slaves.

Fight or flight is a strong instinct. Remember the nurse who drove home with a homeless guy half through her windshield, leaving him to die overnight....????

All the blame for this current disaster sits squarely in the head of GW Bush and is incompetent band of idiots. America has been raped of its future and robbed blind by the current administration. The US is so unbelievably in debt now that the next administration will have a hard time raising money for food stamps, let alone a healthcare system.
Anyone who votes Republican is a fool. (a bit off topic, but related)

"rubber weapons" ???????????
Huh! "rubber", as in "made from rubber" (the same stuff as tires). What possible purpose could a "rubber" gun have. Japan is awash in disconcertingly well made plastic weapons, viss lasser sighting.
Why would anyone buy an inert lump of "rubber" fashioned into a weapon shape???

I've got it: A book about aliens coming to Earth. They don't know it, but other aliens had signed a secret contract previous to their arrival to keep a low profile when visiting but didn't bother to tell anyone. So when they arrive, like on the front lawn of the White House, the USA sues them for breach of contract. The aliens are all like WTF! so they hire a Lawyer, and she is sweeeet. Lawrence Fishburn is God, or a wise old man (as usual), and he says, "the aliens are like cool, man!" and everyone is like "Yeah!!"
The end.

I was caught with a small piece of hash in a park years ago. They naturally wanted to know who I bought it from.
I instinctively told the cops "I bought if from a black guy". (even though I had bought it from a very white friend).
Blaming another race is almost an instinct. People feel it might evoke sympathy. Like it makes us the victim of the evil influence of a "crime-riddled" race.
Cops said, "It's that black guy again, he's everywhere", and let me go with a stern warning.

If Roppongi wants to change its image you'd think the first rule would be don't use any words that can be construed as even vaguely ero-poi.
