herefornow: Unless I see Schwarzenegger himself is endorsing this film, I won't be seeing it no matter how many J-celebs appear. Would rather rewatch Terminator 2.

Is anything musicians do really "new" anymore? This's better than your dime-a-dozen boring poses of band members or the AKB48 type "Hi, we can't fit all our members on the cover, so here's the important ones in tiny squares that still can't sing, play instruments, dance, or think for themselves but at least they're cute" album covers.

Release all the JT posters onto Kim's personal computers, denouncing NK like so until Kim gets so mad he'll throw a tantrum and lob a missile at Seoul. Seoul is aware of this JT tactic and battle ready, thus the missile gets taken down before harm is done.

NK does the 1st strike, and they're gone in a week; peace is restored all thanks to the JT posters ;)

The story has also received wide coverage in the domestic media, reportedly leading to a flood of inquiries from building management firms, local governments, shopping malls and residents groups.

Because teens in Japan have absolutely ZERO supervision or parental guidance?

Um, police? J-Police are armed and trained to handle big bad criminals, but not loitering teens suspected of vandalism? Do teenagers have no parents? Can none of these places rely on police to do their jobs? My parents would disown me if I was even suspected of vandalism.

zaichik: you hardly ever see average members of the public because the average member would either:

    1. Do almost exactly the same thing as the tarento would, thus making all tarento seem normal and become obsolete.

    2. Do nothing, be silent, and look embarassed just like in Junior High School, for fear of losing face and sticking out from the crowd. Boring people remind others of their own hopeless lives and are not fun to watch.

    3. Do things better than a tarento would, charming audiences with their informed opinions or singular quirkiness, thus overshadowing current tarento and make them lose money and fame.

I thought this was about Speed Racer. Mach 5 goin' nationwide!

re-recorded best hits entitled, “White Love.”

I'm sensitive to racism and very offended by this. Rename it "Universal Love" or "Color-doesn't-matter Love" or they'll not get one yen from me!

North Korea defiantly declared Monday that it successfully carried out its second underground nuclear test—a major provocation

N Korea says this and that, but it could just as likely be another missile and not a nuclear missile. Everyone knows N Korea is not above lies, intimidation, and brash actions with little to no provocation. N Korea will never ever attack a nation with a nuke, and China will never ever bankrupt the U.S.

If N Korea blasted, or attempted to blast, say, Tokyo. The full force of the developed world would bear down upon them, and even China could do nothing, or join against the belligerent nation, for obvious reasons. China will never bankrupt the U.S.A. Bring down their biggest trading partner? The World's biggest trading partner? In favor of who, Japan? Create a recession that would basically stop the world?

N Korea needs to be ignored...at least for the time being

‘‘I expect the economy to turn up at an early stage,’’ if such measures are implemented steadily and quickly, Kawamura said.

I still have not received my 12,000 yen stimulus, despite sending it off about a month ago. You know where its going? The bank. You know where my Japanese friends put their stimulus money? The bank.

Steady and quick is all well and good, but let us add intelligently in there. How about sending stimulus in the form of coupons, and not cash, so that people are forced to spend it on consumer goods, and not put it away for fear of, say, a future hospital bill for the flu? I am more concerned about the GDP than Aso Taro, can I be the Prime Minister now?

The cons FAAARR outweigh the pros, and in fact one of the pros topics belong in the cons. Actually, is administering only the pros too much for the J-gov?!

What are they thinking? This is a preposterous plan that has heavy long term penalties, tie-ups, and general problems. I read earlier that Japan wants to increase it's soft power and encourage more people to enter. This is not the way, in fact it'll encourage leavers! Keeping this a secret doesn't help, either!

Mona is not intimidated or insecure. Japanese body language is different from Western

Stop with the line drawing! It's getting tired.

Adriana is promoting her line of cosmetics so she HAS to look stunning and ravishing 100% of the time. Mona's just there for the ride...looks like she was about to say/do something when Jun Sato took her photo.

Aki may be rich and famous, but she's not that rich and famous. It's common sense to carry some form of I.D., maybe in her purse or something, that shows her age whether she's on location or not. Yet we're talking about a vacuous thing here.

Like Mark McCracken, feel no sympathy for her in this case.

“Border controls do not work. Travel restrictions do not work,” WHO spokesman Gregory Hartl said in Geneva, recalling the SARS epidemic earlier in the decade that killed 774 people, mostly in Asia, and slowed the global economy.

Isn't this what Japan is doing right now?

communism is not about revolution any more. I find its ideas good, like no exploatation, protection of the weak and security. Unfortunately it did not exist, it is an ideal, a mirage.

That's right. Communism sounds good on paper, but put it into practice and you've got a monster far greater than what capitalism could ever become.

That's right, if there's anything anyone knows about NK, it's that that honesty is not on their agenda.

If they disappear, it will be America, and possibly China, that will be on their doorstep next. Let's hope Dear Leader has some sanity left.

He added the company may not release that information. Asked why, he responded, “Why is it cloudy today? Because sometimes it just is.”

Mark Herr!! An AIG spokesman speaking like a teenager; he deserves a punch in the gut for saying this!

Liddy replied that he was not at the firm when the contracts were negotiated, and said, as he has before, that he would not have approved them.

Lynch said the terms had been put in place in December, after Liddy arrived at AIG.

If AIG doesn't go under now, then they most assuredly will soon once people discover how the ones in charge are handling themselves and the company.

Why does a robot need such big-looking boobs?

It's a "female" robot designed by mostly men...Japanese men. Did you expect "her" to be flat, given this? Just look at "her" expression and gestures, as if saying "Uwaaa, it was this big!"

But it still hasn’t cleared safety standards required to share the catwalk with human models.

Because it'll go rogue and start killing everybody! First Law, Down!!

its programming technology will be made public so other people can come up with fun moves for the robot, the scientists said.

Yeah, great...I can just imagine all the "fun" moves Japanese men will come up with.
