Interesting article and comments from everyone. I have a TEFL diploma and currently in the middle of a B.A. in East Asian studies with the intent of making my way to Japan as an English teacher. This is all very insightful.

I think they look cute. I have no problems with this. I'm not really into getting wound up about an article regarding a pop group I saw on the internet. Not at all.

I hate conservatives that think they know what's what and what is good for me and everyone else. If you throw your hand in front of my face you will draw back a stump.

I understand if it makes you feel better in terms of self-esteem by all means do what you must; BUT PLEASE Japanese women don't surgically alter your eyelids just so they appear rounder. Your eyes look fine just the way they are. Actually I think they are beautiful. And before anyone jumps on me (as most assuredly they will) for stating how I feel about that; I must make it clear that the natural shape of a woman's eyes did not evolve nor were designed solely for my personal pleasure, I just happen to find pleasure in them.

I find most Japanese snaggle toothed or otherwise have endearingly crooked teeth. And I'm totally serious when I say that. There's a charm to it. It's like I wouldn't want them any other way. I find in cute in a way. But then again a cute girl is a cute girl no matter how you cut it. And I think the crooked grins is an endearing factor. So sue me.

Anyway is was a good game, a bit slow at the start but picked up, many scoring opportunities for Japan mostly by Kawasumi. Kinga's goal was great, An example of what reflexive defense can do and she almost got a second goal but it was off a little unfortunately. It was nice having an HD broadcast here state side of my girls, I had gotten entirely to used to so-so live streams on JustinTV. So seeing it on a nice big screen brought me back to WC last year. It was cool.
Let's cross our fingers and hope for a golden year for our Nadeshiko.
