  I feel they would overthrow Hamas if they were forcing them into harms way. You would also have a mountain of evidence from human rights groups there. They also would not want people to start supporting Fatah. I would have to disagree with your statement.

  The success of Hamas depends on the support of the host population. It makes no sense for Hamas to deliberately put civilians in harms way.

  There are times when civilians tell militants launching rockets from near the neighborhood to piss off from time to time. It is not smart.
