It goes without saying that he should not have raped her! But it seems we have to clearly state not to walk drunk men home whom you barely know because that little bit of common sense is not nearly common enough.
And victim-blaming? God helps those who help themselves, and so do we. If someone leaves their doors unlocked and gets robbed, of course we are going to say "Next time lock your doors!". Your accusation of "victim blaming" is bunch of political dung hurled as a reflex, and its nothing but self-serving.
Frankly, if this really happened, then he is as evil as she is a fool. But she could have prevented the whole thing with ease. I say it not to vilify her, but to educate foolish women who might do the same, and prevent the next rape. I care about women. I don't care about ultra-feminist politics!

OssanAmerica, you said:
But later you said:
I think it is safe to conclude that no one called you a right wing racist for suggesting a neutral decision. Its your negative attitude toward South Korea that did it, along with your support of Japan's two-faced claim. Those positions are just easily explained by calling you a right wing racist.
As SmithinJapan pointed out, Japan is not in a rush to go to a neutral court over the Senkakus.

People who say there not war crimes are just desperate.
You see, even if you are rushing someone to the hospital, speeding is still a crime. It may however be justified.
But when defenders of the bombings avoid the "justified crime" discussion, and instead try to declare it just wasn't a crime, you know they are desperate. And they are desperate because they know in their heart of hearts that it was a crime and it was not even justified. But admit all that takes a type of courage they just don't have. So no surprise they go all out to defend the cowardice of these war crimes.

If only that were true! Society is deciding, and it seems to be unthinking basterds who think they are morally superior to every body else who get their hooks in.
Japanese kids these days have no time and no place to so much as play doctor. Teens are too busy at school and with clubs and homework, even during so called vacations, to have any sort of sexual contact. And sex is a use it or lose it deal, and all those experiences one is supposed have even in childhood are VITAL. If they don't get them, what we get are asexual adults of both sexes, plus people who are just completely inept with regard to the opposite sex even if they want it.
The moral blowhards are really getting their way, and this is result. Oh yeah, people piss and moan about porn and erotic anime and whatnot, but that is not real sex and its not even close to real sexual contact. Its just fantasy. And that is exactly why the sex haters in this country don't bother with them much. They control the reality. They control the schools. They control the so-called "moral education". They have more real power here than their western counterparts who always whine and complain about porn and teen sex, even despite the numbers of unfair arrests. In Japan, everybody in school has their lives so micromanaged, hardly any of them have the time to do anything sexual. So by the time they reach adulthood, they have been neutered.
The sex haters are digging Japan's grave. They put the brakes on too much before, but with certain western laws and ideals infiltrating, things have gotten out of hand. In our modern, sterile, unnatural societies, adults have to teach about sex, and I mean really TEACH, not fear monger. But they are not being taught and the state of society ensures they never really learn naturally. And that brings to right where Japan is today. Sexual frequency is down. The birthrate is down. Dating is down. Yet AIDs rates increase and abortion is high. Thank you enforced ignorance!

That is the way it used to be. But the authorities met out a great deal more than that now. Now if you had one beer two hours ago and drive, you could lose your license and your job. That is Draconian, and Draconian laws did not work out for Draco!
The authorities have set out to put holy terror in the driving populace, and they have succeeded. This is the result.
And the speeding? Limits here in Japan are far too low, and set that way to increase revenue from speeding tickets.
And the article says he was a drunk driver, but you don't even need to get a buzz to get that label now. Zero tolerance has inspired a great deal of laziness among the police, the media, and the populace. Do you see a BAC in the article? No. But everyone happily agrees he was drunk. What you get with zero tolerance is no justice, no second chances, a state of fear and dead teenagers.
People should not run from the police. Police should be fair so as not to encourage people to run. Zero tolerance will only spark a war between otherwise good people and the authorities.
