    Add in the extremely poor quality and the whole problem of people watching pirated versions seems silly.

    The days of people posting poor quality video files for download are long, long gone. In any case, nobody would download them. Most of what is downloaded is of excellent quality. As for whether or not this is a problem for the film industry, I don't think so. Most people who download a movie are just impatient for it to open here - it takes so damn long sometimes for a movie to finally open in cinemas in Japan - and when it does, they happily pay to see it in a movie theatre the way it shoul be sen.

    Signed a few Japanese hard rock and metal acts for release in Europe. The quality of the musicianship is fairly high...but it becomes a bit of a problem (for western audiences, anyway!) when the singer begins singing. As for J-Pop...it's all pretty vacuous.

    Finally, like mimded folk!! I couldn't understand last autumn's fashion for dressing in the Julia Roberts 'Pretty Woman' style of the short skirts and thigh length boots. Cheap beyond beliefe. Fact is, they look like tarts and that can never be a good thing, can it?....well, only if they're tarts, I guess!

    The dude should be kept out of public view, so decent folk don`t have to feel ill seeing him.

    Have trouble with that remark but I do agree that this person has no place promoting a film or anything else other than sex changes. Why this person, what special talent does he/she/it have that makes it OK for her/him/it to be doing this?

    May I be the first and I sincerely hope not the last to say...what a load of old bollocks! As the husband of an ex JAL flight attendant, this obssession that the Japanese (especially young girls with dreams of one day being attendants themselves) have with all of the supposed 'glamour' makes me wanna vomit.

    What's needed here is a little of what the Japanese sorely lack - good old fashioned bollocks! Why don't they just stand up for themselves as appose to caving in to this 'bullying'? I was bullied as a child - had a metal comb dragged across my face. That's bullying, not this 'nobody talks to me' cobblers. They aren't nice people, you don't want to talk to them. Get over it, FFS!

    Tell ya what, why not sort out the problems on your own doorstep - random stabbings, money fraud etc. - before you wory about this kind of thing, eh?

    ...no sympathy for the whaling community, anyway. All talk of whaling for 'scientific data' is pure bollocks and shames Japan in the eyes of the world...like they give a toss.
