Well,I don't know about my friends here but protesting the war these days isn't so urgent for me as it was when bush, the worst president EVER,was in office.

Well, at first I was pretty disappointed to learn that the guy who founded Wikipedia is originally from the deep south state of Alabama. Of course, it goes without saying that said state is totally a RED one, which is unfortunate to say the least; but on the good side I think that that puts the whole business about the rightists' favourite bogey man, liberal bias, to bed.Anyways, it's a great source of fascinating information about everything under the sun and I use it for a lot of my private lessons and of course also to take down fools who try and play it thick when they ATTEMPT to debate against me.

Disgusting! The haters and the gun-toters should be reported to the government. There must be a website to report them to.Seriously, this combination of guns and paranoia and palin soundbites it's just a hate crime waiting to happen.
How can ANYONE listen to Obama's fantastic speeches and harbour violent thoughts?

Well, I'm not too surprised. In fact I predicted this would be the case, what with sarah palin the quitter flying around the country in her private helicopter and TERRORIZING people at town hall meetings and spouting off about "death panels".
Tis sad, really, that the richest nation in the world can't afford health care for close to 60 million people.Said people are going to remember this, and the repubs will AGAIN take a shellacking at the polls in 2012.
Anyways, my friends, this is NOT a defeat for Obama,as the few remaining bush supporters here are trying to make it out to be.

zurcronium:Great investment by the insurance industry to protect their profits while 20,000 people die a year due to lack of insurance in the USA.
Bingo! You said it, my fine friend.More excellent posting. But really the figure who DIE each year because they can't get medical care in the richest nation in the world is closer to 2 million I'd say.I've bounced said figures off of my private students and NONE of them disagree.
Obama is doing a bang-up job, and Americans from all levels of society should get down on their knees, examine the green shoots of recovery that are just sprouting up all over and praise him, especially for what he has done to improve America's standing in the world. But hey, when your predecesser is a guy like bush, the worst president of all-time, up is the only direction you can go.
I really like how Obama stoled the repubs fire AND quieted his ignorant critics in the medical profession the other day when he exposed the well-known scam of many doctors, amputating the feet of diabetics so they can pocket the 50,000 dollar fee. When I think about it now I am shocked at how many one-legged Americans or you see at airports in Detroit or Chicago. They are everywhere! Now, THAT is evil.
Anyways, we all know palin is finished. She was the worst governor ever of all time and IF shes lives on in the pubic eye will it will only be as a source of material for comedians.I am so tired of her interfering.Get out of my head, caribou Barbie!

Bang on as usual, zurcronium.Your posts have really improved lately. And your use of direct quotes is impressive.
We all know that palin is finished. This is just another nail in her coffin, doubtless it will be the last.Said coffin will drag the repubs down in 2010 and 2012.
It really is too sad, and too funny also, the way the few remaining bush supporters here, who apparently WANT the 60 million people in America without health care to suffer, can come on here and defend this icky, stupid woman. She is the worst vice presidential candidate EVER, from the get-go.
Senator Harry Reid was right to call anyone who opposes President Obama's absolutely brilliant compassionate plan an evil-monger.
It just fits.
Well, anyways, as someone pointed out the so called end of life provisions were dropped, people,so palin has no case.Go shoot some moose, caribou Barbie.

Well, let me say something before all the haters start rearing their ugly heads and bringing the bias and the hate. There are extremists in every religion.Tis truly sad, the bombers are now targeting ethnic minorities.I don't have to point out that said minorities were NEVER targeted when Saddam was Iraq's leader.Score another one for Big Oil.

Well, I think we can all agree to disagree here but Hillary needs to speak out on this more often. It has led to debate about slavery in America and about reparations.Kudos to the young man who asked the question.I hope he is referenced in one of Obama's speeches, which are astounding, and fabulous.

JoeBigs:One, many right wingers fear the President some for his public appeal while others because he is not white.
LoL.Bang on, my fine friend. It really is more than funny the way the rightists are still in denial.LOL. Obama's approval rating is off the chart and the shellacking the republicans took last November is one reason why.LoL!
Well, we all know that for bush's crony Big Pharma pals universal health care is a bitter pill too swallow (no pun intended,LOL!)
Of course, the sargies of the world are going to protest but hey, they have already been dealt with here.I HAVE tested these ideas. In particular, on my private students.I bounce these ideas off all levels of students and they NEVER disagree. It only underscores what I have said MANY times and that is that sometimes, in fact, many times times, even MOST of the time, people outside of a country can often understand said country BETTER than those who were born there and live there.
Sadly, it looks like the bush era scare tactics WILL continue.Tis sad, really.I guess they didn't get the newsflash. The Democratic Party controls all three houses of government (and with the absolutely brilliant Professor Sotomayor elevated onto the Supreme Court they also control THAT too,LOL!) so the righties need to get out of the way,and stop the filibustering, and cut the hate and the bias for once.

zurcronium:The economy is turning around after it nearly died last year
Bingo! I KNEW that I wasn't the only one who can see through the smoke and mirrors routine that the right wing media in America is pulling AGAIN!
Methinks the health care reform WILL pass,if Obama can get a chance to address ALL Americans with his incredibly eloqent views on it.But sadly,I fear the media is determined to silence him.
I myself am fortunate enough to have been born in a country where quality medical care is available to ALL people, not just the top 1 percent who are working for Goldman Sachs or faux News.My appendix burst last year and treatment was free.Said treatment really aroused some very patriotic feeling in me, the strongest I have felt in a LONG time!

Well, I hope that the name of the scholar Mr Gates will soon appear in one of President Obama's superb speeches, which are ten times better than what bush could ever have done.
Tis sad that racism like this STILL exists in America and it would be good if Obama reminded CERTAIN people of this, and used Mr Gates terrifying ordeal to shame the haters who oppose Obama's fantastic policies. There IS a link, but said haters can't see it.If they come here to attack me,well,I will just have to remind them that sometimes it is outsiders like myseelf who can actually see America MORE clearly than the people who live there.
Anyway, kudos to the fascists in blue for dropping the trumped up charges against Professor Gates.

zurcronium:she is the same messed up type that believes the world revolves around her, and god too apparently, and has no doubt committed crimes while in office
Bang on, my fine friend! She has no ethics. And her crimes are so numerous I can't be bothered to list them,or even search for proof.
Well, anyway, I'm relieved she lost last November and that the few remaining bush supporters here had to deal with the shellacking.

Barack has put EVERYONE on notice. The new health care bill WILL become law, methinks.
Anyways, we all need to admit he is doing a bangingly-on good job and the health care bill can pass because the green shoots of economic recovery are everywhere and people are amazed at how well he is doing compared to his predeccessor, whom google named the Worst President Ever, hahaha ha.
