Bang on, likeitis. Another great posting. Its just too funny watching the few remaining bush supporters try and change the topic. The whole world LOVES this man for throwing his shoes at a certain failed president, shoes that SHOULD HAVE hit said president in the head even though like Ghandi I am against violence.

tkoind2:"When faced with violence I do my best to defend myself but I do not need a gun to do this. My best self defence is common sense."

Bang on, mate. The best defence IS common sense. And said defence is in rare supply in America these days!!!

I agree completely with sushisake3, your posting is the best on this topic. It must really hurt the NRA types here to know that us OUTSIDE of America can see it better than they can from their trailer parks ha ha ha.

"In the US I have been the victim of crime and assault. But guns were not there to help. And I do not regret that guns were not present, because it would have endangered lives unnecessarily as all the situations were resolved in the end with no fatalities."

Simply astounding! What happened? Did you use conflict resolution? You must have. Did you use aikido or ju-jitsu or other NON-VIOLENT forms of self-defence?

I wish more people favoured getting guns out of the public.

Well, anyways, I guess Alabama is just full of rightists and bush loyalists, hilariously of which there are only a few still remaining here,as we all know.

Bingo!Another astounding and brilliant speech from President Obama, and one that I hope goes into a textbook for the students at my school.I think my friends sushi sake and likeitis would agree.Well, anyways,it IS too much seeing the rightists and the few remaining bush loyalists trying to bring Obama down.Fools!I guess they don't realize that many of us outside of America actually understand the US economy better then they do, ha ha ha.There ARE opportunities which are abounding at this moment.Said opportunities are real. It's just sad that the sargies of this world won't be able to recognize them and do their PATRIOTIC duty and support Obama, instead of just listening their new dear leader, rush limbaugh.

likeitis:Investment implies expansion. This is no time to expand.

Bingo!Another great post, amigo. It really is just too funny watching the few remaining bush supporters here try to justify NOT taxing rich people, who we all know MUST have got there wealth by some ILL-GOTTEN method and probably voted for bush TWICE!Well, anyways, this is another promise that Obama has kept from his utterly brilliant campaign. And of course, the adjective "fierce" is just completely out of place here, since the rightists know that there day has past and the era of TRUE equality is here. There is some resistance, but it is because their NEW dear leader, rush, almost as bad as bush, who was the worst president ever from the get-go, tells them what to think. If I was rich I'd happly give over half of my income to this administration!.Why?because 40 percent of people don't even have health insurance, and the trul;y sad thing is they can't get hospital treatment.

Well, this ANOTHER announcement from Obama that demonstrates his utter brilliance, in contrast to bush, who was the worst president ever, from the get-go.We all know that President Obama inherited a war based on lies but he has struck the perfect balance.Kudos to him.Anyways, my friends, I'm saddened to say Iraq will undoubtedly go back to being a mess, and NO!, that DOESN'T mean I supported Saddam Hussein even though we ALL know Iraq was better off under him.Muslims in Iraq (and the 3 BILLION around the world, that certain people here, who know who they are, want exterminated)are peaceful. The violence was resistance to bush and his cronies and to blackwater.

likeitis:We have been in more wars than in the last couple generations than anyone else I can think of.

Bingo! That was very well worded, amigo.Your posts always comfort me, and they help with the loneliness too.

Well, anyway, the bottom line is Obama is fixing what bush destroyed, and it fills everyone everywhere with hope.

This movie shocked me.I had no idea Australia was such a racist place. It's racist past is now SEARED in my memory!Said racism should have no place in our world.

Anyway, I like the director's necktie very much. It's very festive.Australians have made fuchsia THE colour for this year.

President Obama has a plan, which is more than bush had,ha ha ha.Said plan reportedly will cost every taxpayer in America about 27 thousand dollars, which might seem like alot, but the rightists don7t undertand that in special situations, deficits can actually be BENEFICIAL to economies destroyed by republicans.Well, anyways my friends,we all know that Obama cares about America and really wants to help.He has one-upped his critics with his beautiful request that we ALL help and take responsibility.

likeitis:The Cold War is over. America needs to get its finger out of the anuses of so many places.

Bang on,my friend.Your metafore is astounding, and appropriate.Your posts are a breath of fresh air here.Like me and like Ghandi you know that war never accomplished ANYTHING!Well, anyways, we all know that bush just wanted Iraq's oil, so he started his war using the assassination attempt on his daddy as an excuse. It's a shame Iraq will eventually return to lawlessness once the US pulls out. It really is too funny watching the few remaining republicans here try and defend bush's disaterous decision to invade a country on the other side of the world and posing NO threat to America. It's just a shame that Obama, who is the first truly ethical and moral leader America has ever had,has inherited this mess. He will succeed, but if he doesn't it is bush's fault, and the fault of his supporters here.Said supporters can't handle hearing it from those of us in the stands watching it all go pear-shaped but, oh well, logic never was their strong point.

You said it, sushisake. A palin-limbaugh ticket in 2012. Bingo! Ha ha ha. That would be too great! Well, anyway amigo, it is too funny watching the few remaining republicans here defend bobby jindal and his childish speech.Said speech reminded me of bush and why he and the republicans were kicked out last November.

Adaydream, my friend, are you a musician, or a poet? Your sense of rythym is astounding.I read your lyrical dissing of the republicans and I was LITERALLy rolling on the floor, laughing my arse off!

Well, I STILL haven't come down from my Academy high. Sean Penn won best actor for his astounding portrayal of gay icon Harvey Milk, who was a true leader, and would probably have become America's first gay president if he hadn't been killed by some insane hater.

Now that President Obama has replaced bush, who was the worst president ever, the BEST actor in the world was able to safely address the crowd, “You commie, homo-loving sons of guns.”

This made me feel closer than ever to Sean.

Bang on, GJ and sushisake!Great posts from both of you,mon amis. It's too funny watching the few remaining bush loyalists here try and defend the economic policies of republicans governors, ala bush, who was the worst president ever, and from the get-go.Said loyalists are just bitter about the recent election and we all know it.Well, anyways, we all know President Obama's stimulus plan will be working miracles within the next few weeks and the rightists will be eating humble pie, again! If the stimulus DOESN'T work we all know it will be because of the bush-like behaviour of these republican governors, who are greedy like all republicans are,and are foolishly refusing the money Obama and his party were offering their constiuents.Fools!Well, anyways, it's terrible to see they are blinded by jealousy over Obama's popularity and his simply FABULOUS speeches, which I am sure you two also use in your lessons.

Bang on, sushisake! And kudos to you, mon ami. It is truly funny to watch the few remaining bush loyalists here try to defend the previous administration's complete subservience to big pharma (and of course, Halliburton), but then again logic never was their strong suit. It's just too funny that those of us outside of America know even more about their medical system than they do!ha ha ha. Well, anyways, it is good to see that President Obama is bringing justice to the whole mess at last.Said mess is of course ALL bush's fault, and that's why he was turfed out last November, exactly as WE had predicted he would be.

Bang on, Mr. Holder! We all know that just because Americans elected Obama and threw out bush, who was the worst president EVER, from the get-go, that that doesn't mean that racism is over. Not in America, and not by a LONG shot!Anyways, my friends, people who are throwing stones from inside the comfort of their glass houses and who are simply BITTER about the outcome of the election need to remember what my toothless grampa used to say to me. He used to say, "Gopher boy, when you are pointing your elbow at someone else and saying bad things the chances are good you have five of your own fingers pointing RIGHT back at you." As for the racist cartoon I was shocked to read about, first thing in the morning, well, it's funny to watch the few remaining bush loyalists here try and defend RACISM, again!I'm not in the least surprised. But then, I guess they never got the message, bush's lily white administration couldn't go on forever, kiddies.

"I would imagine that the average Iranian citizen is a very proud person right now. As well they should be. < :-)"

Bang on, adaydream, my amigo. We need to think more about the self-esteem of people in countries that bush, who was the worst president ever (and left office with about a 12 percent favourable rating hahaha) labeled part of his stupid axis of evil.

The few remaining bush loyalists here must be really ticked.Of course, what said loyalists need to face is that if bush's daddy hadn't personally assassinated the DEMOCRATICALLY elected leader who was leading Iran before the CIA made the Shah their puppet, well then they wouldn't be in this pickle.Anyways, everybody knows Iran just wants a little respect, and that the nuclear program and the missiles and the ALLEGED rethoric about wiping Israel from the face of the map is just that, alleged!

Well, my friends, it looks like bush, who is the worst president of all time, and always was from the get go, got the last laugh. The few remaining bush loyalists here must be really proud of what he DIDN'T do in Afghanistan!

Yes, said loyalists probably wish bush had a THIRD term, or declared a police state (like we all know he was planning, until Obama, who I respect the hell out of, came onto the scene)so they could come here and write about him EVERY day, even though Obama is heaps more intelligent(but that's not saying much, even a walrus is,hahahaha)and will take America in the right direction at last.

Like me, and like Ghandi, I feel Obama understands that war never solves ANYTHING! Well, anyways, it's a shame about the violence in Afghanistan.I'm sure I'll have to come back though, because we all know some FOOLS will try to say the problem is the Muslims, and that the world's 1.6 billion Muslims, who all hate bush, are violent or something.

Well, the president of Turkey is right, my friends.Israel's over reaction NEEDS condemning.I for one am happy he didn't use the passive voice, either. I hate teh passive!

No,the president, like myself and MK Ghandi, understands that the world is not white and black.i.e., if you are criticizing Israel it DOES NOT mean you are pro-Hamas, as certain fools here foolishly continue to say.Of course, we all know that Obama's carte blanching of Israel's aggression is part of the problem. But said carte blanching is really not his fault I would say, since that was the policy in effect when he took over from bush, who always was a loser from the get go, and always WILL BE.But I am too subtle for the fools here so I won't even BOTHER to explain that, because certain posters can't understand things like paradox.Well, anyways mon amis, it was a great day for justice and nonviolence.I just wish President Erdogan would have thrown his shoe or something.

sushisake3 - bang on,mon ami.Your posts are a breath of fresh air here.Like MK Ghandi and me,and unlike the right-wingers, you seem like someone who values PEACE.Everybody knows that Blackwater are a bunch of mercenaries, and its there mercenary cowboy attitudes that got alot of innocent people killed in bush's war against Iraq.Complete idiots! The whole lot of them. It's also why their dear leader bush, who was a total failure at everything he ever tried from the get go,left office as the least popular president EVER!Well, anyways,we all know Blackwater is finished now that we have gotten Barack Obama elected.

buddha4brains:Obama's speeches are great learning tools in a class headed by a teacher who cares about education.

Very true, amigo.Of course,we all know anything would be an improvement over the drivel from his predecesser, who was a failure in everything he ever attempted, from the get go,as we all know...hahahaha. Well, anyway,I can't WAIT to get the text!Like Ghandi and me I have the feeling that Obama understands non violence and he can end the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and he can bring peace to Palestine and end the embargo bush, who was an utter failure, foolishly insisted on imposing on Cuba.
