Americans got Obama elected by electing him.
Facts to the partisan left and the partisan right are like garlic to a vampire. It is a shame that the US has a two party system, both parties are getting infected by overly vocal loud mouths, who have IQ's that are increasing shifting to the left of bell curve and rely on cnn, fox news and endless amounts pundits to inform them. The sad part is that politicians actually pander to this types.

In the bank loan casse that is written in the contract, I haven't read or heard where in the AIG contact with the government, that government agreed they would not adjust the tax rate of AIG executives, must likely because it is not in the contract. Nothing illegal about it but that is not to say that it was not underhanded.

As they should, they have auditors that check up on individuals who collect welfare, why not for Companies that collect welfare? If AIG loans you money, they will most likely have restrictive covenants attached about how the money spent and how often they will require auditor or internal reports to be presented to them.
Adjusting/changing the tax laws is doubtfully a breach of contract with AIG. I couldn't see an article of the contract saying something like, Article 16 - Upon acceptance of TARP(welfare) money, the Government will not adjust the tax rate for AIG or any of it's executives, until such a time as the company is proven to be profitable and no longer in need of assistance(welfare) from the government.

Of course it did, directly by the amount that was wasted through non-competetion contracts and indirectly by using a huge amount of oil and gas which aided in raising the price for a barrel of oil.

The ones that don't drink, dance or have pre-martial sex (with a women or thier hand) because of a single sentence in the bible.
"To engage in any activity which produces lewd emotions or excites unlawful sexual desire is "lasciviousness" and stands condemned by God. (Galatians 5:19-21)."

Forgive me if I am wrong but was it in not Bush, the Dem's and most of the Republicans in congress that started giving AIG the taxpayers money?
People protesting AIG officials, people having "Tea party" protests and the question is, does either the far right or the far left in America(and the rest of the world) ever plan on doing anything constructive and actually work out solutions? Perhaps it is easier to blame each other, protest and act like children.

I don't know how much research is going into the Taser but there is a lot of research also goes into less lethal weapons; Bean bag guns, pepper spray paint balls, stun/flash grenades and so on.

The DSM 4 has 297 disorders, which does not included everything that falls under "not yet specified". It would take a ridiculously long time to document each and every one and make for a really long film.

It's an interesting read as to why they took up pirating in the first place, before they got greedy. I wouldn't be happy if people starting stealing my fish and replacing them with medical and toxic waste.

By hand is perfectly fine and non-lethal, expect it has resulted in many fatalities as well. I know of some cases where a person has been restrained by an officer's knee on the chest, and the result was a punctured lung or heart attack and ended up with the person dying.

Indeed. It's a shame they are fighting a battle that is not theirs, for the freedom of a people that don't seem want the same type of freedom.

Temporary nationalization of the failing banks, take-over toxic assets, sell the healthy parts of the banks back to the private market. An idea that it picking up steam amogst Economists (Alan Greenspan, Joseph Stiglitz, Thomas Hoenig and so on)
So the millions of Americans who made no attempts to manage the finances with any sort of common sense, will escape the blame that they deserve.

I think market in case could be read as, people who might not have been given their big bonuses.
Socaialism and nationalization(temporary) are two apples on same the branch.
Had the government been assumed Lehman Brothers toxic assets, then Lehman Brothers could have been sold for a lot more. Assets - Toxic Assets = 0, Assets only = $. A more profitable return on the investment might have attracted American buyers to purchase the assets.
As well as enegry reserves; CNOOC - Unocal. If a country block the sales of engery reserves, it is not that far fetched to block the sale of financial reserves.
