    In Canada free speech is enshrined in the preamble to the constitution, and has parameters set to it, so that if the speech is considered hateful, it should be curbed. I think that's a good balance. Courts have decided in both directions in different cases. In Japan, I think, speech is quite free, but not without its consequences. In Israel and Ireland I have seen the freedom to talk about anything, and lively debates rage on. But in America, where one is supposed to be free, just say anything out of whack with what the O'Reilly's or the Hannity's of the world see at THE truth, and you will find yourself swiftboated in a New York minute.

Start by auditing: The Police, The Defense Agency, The Land Transport & Infrastructure Ministry, The Japan Highways Agency, etc. etc. etc. Throwing incomplete technology into poor processes guarantees a cock-up.

    Believe it or not, carbon is not poison, Oxygen is a carcinogen, and Carbon recovery and sequestration is seismically dangerous. Following a trend, all be it fashionable, but highly unscientific, Japan has proven that it doesn't know diddly. The G8 Summit will be a disaster! (Read Lovelock's, "The Revenge of Gaia".)

    Two items: Yes, Zapatero has produced better growth in Europe, after Ireland....while the bread lines in the USA lengthen, and No, H.E. President Ahmedinejad has never said the holocaust was a myth. He simply questioned (a) who did it, and (b) how many and who were the victims. He also asked, "Why, if the Palestinians were not involved, should they be punished for it?" Damn good questions! The answers are simple: (a) Hertzl's Zionists with Nazi assistance, (b) way less than 6 million, and not all of them Jews, (271,000 at Ozviecim by ICRC records) and more at other camps. So why displace innocent people? Simple, a Zionist agenda that enslaves America for "Israel's" benefit...happy now?
