If you really want a snapshot of Palestinian-Occupier relations in that part of the world, this is a great site: http://www.ifamericansonlyknew.org/ I'm cringing already, because I know what the star of David IDF people are going to unleash on the folks in Gaza, right before shabbath. Haven't they suffered enough?

I saw a dog walking by itself yesterday, on all four legs. I didn't know they had legs in Japan, as they're always carried, or in bicycle baskets! Just about fell off my papa-charri!

Sen. McCain, sir, you DO realize that the doctrine of pre-emptive attacks works two ways, don't you? Given the Iraq debacle, other countries might feel that the Excited States of America is a threat to THEIR national security, and would, to use your way of thinking, be perfectly justified in launching a pre-emptive attack themselves! Or does America think that far ahead?

Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Zapatero, in a speech delivered in May 2005, said that "the colonial invasion of Iraq, and the ugliest of lies of the lie machine that propagated and justified these barbarous acts will forever remain among the greatest and unpardonable crimes against humanity". The Nuremberg Charter clearly states that initiating a war of aggression is a "supreme international crime".

"More common sense.....the usual solutions." Regrettably, common sense isn't all that common here. Just look at the exemplars they've elected!

“External actors, like Iran, could stoke violence within Iraq and actions by other neighbors could undermine the security situation as well,” he added. OK General Betray-us, what would Amerika have done if Iran had invaded Mexico? Continue to watch American Idol as if nothing had happened? T A L K to I R A N! No victory without it!

Identity Management implies information security, one thing at which Japan fails miserably. What have they lost of late? Pension records, defence secrets, Aegis radar software, internet subscriber account information, patient records.....the list is almost endless! Why can't they lose my tax bills?

458,000 lost souls staring at tourist maps in public, stopping at the bottom of escalators, carrying suitcases with enough clothes for 3 weeks, expecting to use Yen abroad and saying, "Ooh! Look at all the foreigners!" when in other countries! Hopefully these travelers are the more enlightened "repeat offenders." Apparently 85%+ of Japanese passports are used only once, according to the DFA, Jpn. Govt.

Mainland Chinese, easy! In the main square in Frankfurt last week 200 of them descended from tour buses, coughing and spitting phlegm, tossing cigarette butts, hollering loudly ("Do-ya, do-ya! Mei-yo, mei-yo!") across the platz, and they moved in one odiferous mob from one point to the next, all the while being screamed at via a loudhailer by their guide. (Hands down the Belgians or the Luxemburgers are the best mannered and polite!)

Actually, there is method in this madness. Nissan's brain is in France a la Carlos Ghosn. New models are in the works which are NiMeHydride hybrids, and which will be in vogue by 2010 and onwards. Toyota is working on similar vehicles, as are others. This is pre-positioning in a market that is evolving, while the US big and not-so-big 3 are not keeping up with either fuel-efficiency demands and/or pricing for a possible US$200 or more barrel of oil. Trust me, these guys don't even go to the bathroom without a plan!
