If the person is a renown terrorist, then bring it on. Pull out finger nails, pull hair, waterboard, etc. They decided to live as a terrorist, they can pay for it when they are caught.

Didn't this happen a few months ago too?

I like her description of the assailant too...that really narrowed it down in Japan....

Awesome father!. However, I question why people continue to take Mother Nature for granted. Being an avid surfer, I can just imagine the water conditions were at the time.

Alas, you can´t ban people. That is also why we ban samurai swords and guns here, and not the characters who would love to carry them in public.

So, tosas and the like should be banned in the same way. Not rocket science.

    Where is here?
I'm no rocket scientist, but I dont understand your logic. Are you saying that guns and Tosa's and the like kill people so they should be banned? They are like weopons?

Guns and swords can kill people, but only if there is a person behind it. Guns and swords sitting on a table are harmless. Your point being?

Maybe next week we will see IRB 48...a bunch of grannies with false teeth that dance and sing? come to light. (Ireba 48)

    WillieB-

Well, if a killer Chihuahua and a toy poodle can chase you down the street, then you are really the person to preach about the harmlessness of Tosas and Pit Bulls! I see the light now...

So, what you are saying is we should ban Chihuahuas and toy poodles too? You do not see the light, yet.

    The Munya Times,

Point well taken. However, I still disagree with the use of the word, "They"...as you describe these "Killer Breeds." There is no difference in saying that "All Itailians are in the Mafia", "All poor people in the bronx are black," "all Indian people work at 7-11." etc.

There are many of these "Killer Breeds" ..Tosas included, in this world that play with children and are as friendly as can be. But when you have the owners that train these types of breeds to fight, and one in a million kills someone, the stereotyping goes out of control.

I don't know ....should I go home and kill my neighbors Doberman that leaps up and greets me at his gate everyday because he might kill me one day? The next time my neighbor lets me walk him to the park, should I push him in front of a car before he may attack me someday? If I understand correctly, his instincts are to kill me? He knows where to bite me? Is it just a matter of time?

cleo, thanks. I do not own a dog, but I love them...all breeds, espcially the larger ones. However, I'm tired of people giving these dogs a dangerous rep because of what they hear or see on the news. I would bet that a majority of these paranoid people have never seen a "killer breed" rip someone apart.

As a matter of fact, for me, as much as I love dogs, (and because I was traumatized as a little boy), I still take extra caution when I try and pet a toy breed, rather then a large breed type of dog. (^_^)y

I dont care what kind of dog breed it is, Dogs dont kill people, dog owners kill people.

I dont get where and why people blame Pits, canarios, Tosas, Dobermans, German Shepards, etc for killing people. I have never been attacked by, have seen one of these dogs show agression, or bite anyone. Sure, you here it in the news time to time, but it boils down to how that breed of dog was raised by the owner.

As I stated, I have never seen an agreesive "Killer" breed. But, I have been attacked, chased or bitten by a Chihuahua, Yorkie, and a Toy Poodle dilervering newspapers as a little kid. But, nobody believes that, right? They are too cute to attack or bite. The only dogs capable of of doing this are the "Killer Dogs" people see on the news.

Canine Stereotyping is what it boils down to. Never thought there were so many prejusice people in this world.

I'm no Mayan rocket scientist...but it would be impossible for the world to end on a specific day. I wounder how the Mayans predict the the world ending in halves?

If it's the 21st in Central America, what happens to the side of the earth that are a day ahead?

a terrorist posing as a tourist goes up to the 350-meter-high observation deck and sprays a toxic gas.

I did not know that spraying gas was the only threat of a terrorist. Is this written in some kind of terrorist hand book?

....and what happens if a terrorist decides NOT to use a spray can. Then what? Did the emergency personnel run up the 2000 steps?

My mother got one of those types of phone calls about two years ago saying that her son had been arrested and one million yen was required to be depositied to post bail. When the money was depositied, the police would let him make one phone call from the police station to explain.

...the problem was, I was sitting in the living room with her when she got this call. LOL!

...So my mom told the guy to tell her son (me), to rot behind bars and die for what ever he did to get arrested in the first place and slammed the phone down. That was hilarious.
